Why is it important for me to learn as much as I can about HTA (Health Technology Assesment) ❓ 🔊 Understanding how patients can contribute to #HTA, the various methods to gather evidence on patients' priorities, and effectively using that evidence is crucial for meaningful communication with healthcare professionals and patients. 🚀 That's why I enrolled in the EUPATI Patient Expert Training—to develop the expertise needed in these areas. 📚 One of the key topics we'll be exploring is the new FDA guidance aimed at improving clinical trial enrollment and diversity: https://lnkd.in/dAE-KFfe 👩🎓 Looking forward to learning and applying these insights in my work! #eupati #advocacy #learning #improvement #clinicaltrials

🌟 New Skills Acquired in Healthcare 🌟 I recently participated in two enlightening training sessions: Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM). Let me share a quick overview of both: Health Technology Assessment (HTA): HTA is a systematic evaluation of health technologies and interventions. It helps decision-makers assess their value and impact on healthcare systems. By bridging research and policy, HTA ensures evidence-based choices for better patient outcomes. 🚀 Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM): EBM empowers clinicians to make informed decisions by relying on credible scientific evidence. It goes beyond statistics, emphasizing high-quality patient care based on the best available data. 📊 Excited to apply these skills in my healthcare journey! Thanks to the Stowarzyszenie CEESTAHC for the training sessions! #ebm #hta #clinicalresearch

Are you considering Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) accreditation, or is your #reaccreditation approaching? You're likely aware of the importance of having up-to-date #policiesandprocedures, as well as stellar patient records, among other #accreditation standards. But do you understand what occurs when the ACHC #surveyor arrives on-site? On survey day, there are numerous areas of focus, making preparation, organization, and collaboration with your team and #consultant crucial. Without these elements, the efforts you've made thus far may not culminate in successful accreditation. 🔔 Are your personnel records adequately prepared, organized, and complete for review? 🔔 Are your patient records compliant with ACHC requirements? 🔔 Are all patient demographic information and clinical documents well-organized and complete for review? 🔔 Is your team fully aware that they will undergo interviews, and do they understand their roles in the accreditation process? 🔔 Are your #pharmacy licenses and logs up to date, complete, and easily accessible? 🔔 Are the minutes of your performance improvement committee meetings prepared for review? Choosing a consultant that understands that preparation is key, and leads to a more seamless process, is invaluable, and comes from deep experience with ACHC’s programs. At Two Trees Consulting, with over a decade of accreditation experience and 100% success rate in guiding over 50 facilities through accreditation, we are your consultant of choice toward accreditation or re-accreditation success. Read our latest White Paper – Health Care Credentialing Health care credentialing is the formal process used by a health service organisation to verify the qualifications, experience, professional standing, competencies and other relevant professional attributes of clinicians, so that the organisation can form a view about the clinician’s competence, performance and professional suitability to provide safe, high-quality health care services within specific organisational environments. https://okt.to/jcxHnU

Not-So-Hidden Gems in the 21st Century Cures Act Final Rule: Get to Know the Conditions of Certification Don’t get me wrong, the information blocking regulations are important, but let’s not forget that the 21st Century Cures Act (Cures Act) and our implementing regulations (Cures Act Final Rule) had a few other impactful provisions. In particular, certain changes to the ONC Health IT Certification Program may seem like “more of the same” for health IT developers, but in reality they are really important and beneficial to clinicians, researchers, and the public alike. Two new education resources are now available specifically geared toward these audiences to describe “what the rule says” and what those regulatory requirements “mean” from the perspective of those who interact with developers of certified health IT and use their products.
