Non-contact radar sensor for controlling light switches also include the following: 1. Bluetooth or Wi-Fi enabled smart switches These can be controlled via a mobile app on your smartphone or other compatible devices. You can turn the lights on or off remotely from anywhere as long as you have an internet connection. For example, when you're about to arrive home, you can turn on the lights in advance using your phone to make the house more welcoming. 2. Motion sensor switches These detect movement in the area and automatically turn the lights on when motion is detected and turn them off after a period of no movement. They are commonly used in areas like staircases and storage rooms where hands-free operation is convenient and energy savings can be achieved. 3. Voice-activated switches Integrated with virtual assistants like Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, these switches respond to voice commands to turn lights on or off. For instance, simply saying "Turn on the lights" can activate the lights without any physical contact. #iot #iotsolution #radarsensor #radardetector #smarthome #smartlighting #lightingdesign #lightingideas #lightingtech

How ultimate tracking can lead to ultimate chaos and why diversification is key. Due to a bug in #Apple's #Airtag firmware, not only could the company's devices be located, but also the positions of #satellite base stations. #Starlink for instance quickly randomised all Basic Service Set Identifiers (BSSIDs) for their WiFi equipment to solve this issue. It is well known that cheap Airtags often benefit others more than the owner.* That's why professional alternatives are so important. With our #IoT products, we offer exactly that: energy-efficient tracking without the headache. For example, with our #Sigfox partner Heliot Europe. Empowering Companies with Strategic IP Insights for Success | IP Professional | Indian Patent Agent, IN/PA-3560
Are We on the Brink of a Smart Home IoT Patent Pool? Exciting news! Access Advance and Tech+IP are exploring the launch of a new patent pool for smart home devices and services. Over the next 6-12 months, they'll engage with standard essential patent holders and smart home product manufacturers to gauge interest. Their goal is a balanced, market-driven solution for the global IoT landscape. Creating this pool presents unique challenges due to the diversity of patents and standards involved, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Matter, NFC, Thread, Zigbee, and Zwave. Unlike the concentrated mobile phone market, over 100 companies hold patents in this area. This complexity, combined with the need for robust security features originally developed for enterprise applications, makes forming a cohesive licensing program difficult. With the smart home market projected to grow from 5.3 billion device shipments and $411.5 billion in revenue today to 9.1 billion shipments and $832.3 billion by 2030 (ABI Research), this initiative aims to bring much-needed transparency, balance, and efficiency. Stakeholders are encouraged to reach out and be part of this promising discussion. #SmartHome #IoT #PatentPool #TechInnovation #FutureOfTech
