Introducing #DTsynth, an innovative solution focused on synthesizing #DigitalTwins from existing #CyberPhysicalSystems. 🤝 AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, together with Technische Universität Graz and AVL, is actively engaged in advancing the learning of Digital Twins for cyber-physical systems. Notably, the successful learning of finite state machines from available system data has been accomplished. 🚘 Currently, the collaboration with AVL continues to explore techniques for reducing parameter space. 𝗜𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗢𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮? One of the topics that came up at last week’s GERPISA - Le Réseau International de L'Automobile Global Automotive Conference in Bordeaux, France was battery repairability.  Some battery makers, including the European battery consortium, ACC - Automotive Cells Company, are looking at how to repair batteries, something that no one is talking about.  We heard from Philippe Biensan, Chief Technology Officer at ACC, who talked about how they are researching attaching the individual battery cells without glue, so that they can be tested and replaced.  This process could be a game changer in battery life.  #Battery repair may play a part in future US and EU right to repair laws, though no current laws deal with this issue.  Thanks to the GERPISA team, including Tommaso Pardi and Vincent Frigant for the great speakers and panels at last week's conference.  You can see the topics/speakers and get access to presentations at the #GERPISA Global Automotive Conference at https://lnkd.in/gQstp9Ks.

Our CEO, Alexander Trattner, guided Ambassador Cecere through our state-of-the-art 1200 m2 testing facility, highlighting our latest R&D efforts in electrolysis and fuel cells. This visit facilitated a productive dialogue about enhancing international scientific cooperation between Austria and Germany. Our countries are deeply committed to advancing hydrogen technologies and integrating hydrogen into the energy system. This commitment is underpinned by numerous existing collaborations with German academic and industrial partners, and we are eager to expand these partnerships and forge new ones.🤝 This visit was an invaluable opportunity to demonstrate the strides we are making in research and development. Exciting news from CATL at the 15th Annual Meeting of the New Champions of the World Economic Forum! 🎉 Chairman Zeng Yuqun announced that CATL's civil electric aircraft project is making great strides. By 2027-2028, these electric aircraft are expected to fly up to 2,000-3,000 kilometers. This groundbreaking achievement is powered by CATL's advanced condensed battery technology, boasting an energy density of 500Wh/kg, doubling the current electric vehicle battery levels. ✈️🔋 In other exciting developments, CATL is also working on a new generation of sodium-ion batteries, set to launch next year. These batteries promise improved cost efficiency, longevity, and performance in low temperatures.
