🌬️ Advancing Oxygen Therapy: A New FiO2 Prediction Formula 🌬️ 🔍 In the quest to enhance low-flow oxygen therapy, a pivotal study introduces the a revised Duprez formula, the New FiO2 Prediction Formula (NFiO2). This innovative approach aims to accurately determine the inspired oxygen fraction (FiO2), a crucial element often unknown in such therapies. Methodology: Utilized a T-piece connected to an artificial lung, varying ventilatory parameters like tidal volume, respiratory rate (RR), and O2 flow rates. The study adapted the 2018 Duprez Formula for practical application, focusing on RR and O2 flow rate. Findings: NFiO2 and the Duprez Formula 2018 emerged as the most precise, surpassing others like the Vincent and Shapiro Formulas. https://lnkd.in/eccAieaa #HealthcareInnovation #OxygenTherapy #MedicalResearch #PatientCare #FiO2Precision
