Organizing the library has been a HUGE undertaking that Ingrid Holt has been managing with our partner manufacturers over the past several weeks. One challenge we faced is what to do with obsolete samples. The landfill was NOT an acceptable solution, so Ingrid researched and found a great nonprofit, Seattle ReCreative, that happily took the materials for arts and crafts projects. #winwin #livingourvalues #reducewaste #avoidlandfills

Rossi Companies Makes Community Impact with Donation INDIANAPOLIS - Jan. 21, 2024 - PRLog -- Indianapolis, IN 01/20/24 The Rossi Companies Inc. a premier multi service contractor based in Indianapolis made a generous donation of $50,000.00 to the Catholic Charities with the understanding that the proceeds were to be distributed for the less fortunate in both Indianapolis, and Louisville conversely for people that are homeless and needing provisions for shelter and aide during this time of extreme cold weather. We have very close ties to the Catholic Church, and feel it's both our obligation and duty to give back to communities when people are struggling just eat and find shelter, more so when temperatures have been lingering in the single digits, compounded by snowfall. With the many partnerships that we have developed over the years, we felt compelled to set a precedent as a partner that people can relate to, and are proud of as well. In the final analysis, we feel that helping our needing members in the community is both profitable and bottomline... We will continue to monitor our surroundings as the days progress, and lend any further help that may be needed accordingly. rossicompanies.com Contact Corporate Communications Rossi Companies Inc. rossicompanies.com ***@rossicompanies.com End Source : Lisa Capazelli Email : ***@rossicompanies.com Listed Under- Tags : Corporate Giving, Community Help, Community Outreach Industry : Construction, Business, Engineering Location : Indianapolis - Indiana - United States

Leading Social Impact - Corporate Partnerships - Non-Profit Management - Problem Solver - Driver of Change
What would you do? The article speaks volumes and has so many good points. While some might experience this on a larger scale the situation is still relevant. Just this past week our team was discussing the "creeping" of reporting requirements and agreeing that pushback on the funder is needed, and healthy for the relationship. I pulled out some good quotes: 🔆 "To reduce the likelihood of donors becoming dominant, it’s crucial to set limits" 🔆"She believes too many nonprofits treat “boundaries” like a four-letter word and refuse to discuss them." 🔆"The donor-nonprofit relationship runs two ways." 🔆“Of course we need money to meet the mission, but donors need us, too,” 🔆“It’s easy to give away money; it’s hard to have an impact." 🔆"Funders cannot achieve the joy and satisfaction that comes with changing the world if nonprofits are not partnering with them.” #trustbasedphilanthropy #csr The Chronicle of Philanthropy #partnerships Would Your Nonprofit Return a Gift From a ‘Power Drunk’ Donor? What a great idea, thanks Deb for organizing this
At CLAY, we build more than lasting spaces. We work to build trust and lasting bonds with our clients, employees and community. We aim to be a company that actively strengthens the places we call home and are always considering new and fun ways to do that. Did you know that Sept. 9 was National Teddy Bear Day? We celebrated by collecting teddy bears for Ronald McDonald House Charities - hats off to our team for their contributions! What causes does your organization support? Let us know in the comments!
