Giovanni Renoldi (Future Developing ) about their groundbreaking book, "Danno e Contraffazione nei Prodotti Complessi: Criteri di Valutazione e Tutela" (Damage and Counterfeiting in Complex Products: Evaluation Criteria and Protection). In this insightful discussion, we delve into the complexities of assessing damages and counterfeiting in products characterized by high technological and immaterial content. The book examines the challenges of applying the Entire Market Value rule to increasingly complex products, which are often a blend of patented and non-patented technologies. We will explore how the concepts of complementarity and Apportionment affect damage assessment and the calculation of royalties.
