Watch this video and ask this question: If you are a patient: Why would you not have this surgery ? NO Screws. When it comes to medical innovations, the thinking behind a device's design is every bit as important as what it does. ✅ Inspan was designed to spare muscles and avoid kyphosis so it hugs the spinous process and contoured to rest between 2 laminas. ✅ Functionally, Inspan preserves anatomy: distracts across the lamina and opens the foramen while stabilizing the facets and restoring the posterior ligamentous complex and disc motion. ✅ Inspan Ethically is easily reversible and removable. 🚫 Disclaimer: Remember, not all interspinous fixation devices are created equal. In the beginning of my learning curve in spine endoscopy I found that at least three steps are mandatory to achieve in every surgery and in the most perfect way possible to facilitate the task: 1/ The exact location of the skin incision after which the table should no longer be handled 2/Identification and preparation of the interlaminar space before flavectomy 3/Detachment of the LF, flavectomy and proper work space preparation In the attached video it was difficult for me to perform an en bloc flavectomy and detachment was not that easy I don't know if experts have any tips for successfully completing these steps quickly and without risk for the patient?

Anterior capsular tear after latarjet surgery: normal post-surgical sequelae or complication after surgery? A rugby player was operated on a year ago for recurrent glenohumeral dislocation with a Latarjet procedure that maintains pain and a feeling of instability, with a positive apprehension test. A CT scan of the shoulder is performed to assess the bone block, which is appropriately located and completely consolidated. Assessment is completed with arthroCT, where anterior extravasation of contrast is seen through the capsular defect, which surrounds the screw in its intraosseous portion until reaching its posterior distal end. Due to the contradictory answers from shoulder traumatologists, I wanted to ask the experts if these findings are normal or pathological. What would be the next step: revision arthroscopy?

Trial Lawyer For The Seriously Injured | Trial Consultant | I Help You Maximize The Value Of Your Case | Law Partner | President of Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys
⚖️ In advance of our recent trial win, we ran a focus group. Focus groups are instrumental in focusing our trials. In its simplest form, this was a dog bite case. The other side principally minimized Plaintiff’s injuries as superficial wounds to her wrist. At the focus group, we learned that the jury just could not get over certain facts when evaluating our case. At trial, Plaintiff presents opening first. Knowing that, we had primacy on our side. Therefore, when we re-drafted our opening, we front loaded the facts that the jury just could not get over. Immediately, we told the jury “This is a case about a pit bull breed who, unprovoked, bit the wrist of a classical pianist resulting in nerve damage and wrist surgery.” Filtering the case through this lens, the jury would not be able to overlook the bite-related wrist surgery for a classical pianist as anything but serious. Remember, there is power in primacy and front loading the most compelling story for the jury.

Healthtalk:45 Electro surgery in Aesthetics • Electro surgery is increasingly utilized in aesthetic procedures for its precision and effectiveness. • It involves using a high-frequency electrical current to remove or reshape unwanted tissue, such as moles ,blood spots, milia ,Xanthelasma , age spots , sebaceous hyperplasia , skin tags, and warts. • The process cauterizes as it cuts, reducing bleeding and promoting faster healing. • Electro surgery is particularly beneficial for delicate areas like the face, where preserving surrounding healthy tissue is crucial. • It requires skill and expertise to ensure optimal results and minimize risks associated with the procedure. https://lnkd.in/e6ytrdZD.

I do not recommend for most people to go outside of their home state or their home country when having surgery. Though I will be doing it myself, I am doing it with a team that doubled the price of my surgery journey. That's something that is in my budget, it's something that is doable, but because it's not something that's always possible for the average patient undergoing surgery, I suggest you stay close to home. I suggest that you hire yourself a team that can help you in preparation and recovery. And I suggest that you allow them to do the in depth research for you. Because if you're an amazing mom, you're not an amazing researcher for plastic surgery. You're an amazing salesperson, you're not an amazing researcher for plastic surgery. If you're an amazing cloud tech, you're not an amazing researcher for plastic surgery. If you're an amazing teacher, you're not an amazing researcher for plastic surgery. Don't do it alone. That was 2023 and that is out. This is 2024 and it's the year of more. Don't do it alone. #plasticsurgery #plasticsurgeryabroad #poprecoverysystems

🎤“I think 3D planning isn’t necessary for a lobectomy”🎤 🎤“I use 3D planning only for complex segmectectomies”🎤 …etc… Not my point of view! 🙅 It should be done in routine 👍🏻 🎯 Today, again a perfect example of possible traps 🪤 during a right lower lobectomy because of several anatomical veinous variations. Let’s look at this video and imagine the surgery only with CT scan 🩻 and per operative exploration… 😰🤔 #3dplanning #thoracicsurgery #lungcancer

7moI notice Dr. Chin first does a wide decompression. From medial facet to medial facet, takes the ligament down to the dura. This is not the way some other ISP companies teach. This step is very important and in my humble opinion critical. Beautiful demonstration.
