The hospitality industry is currently facing a significant challenge: a massive shortage of trained staff. Industry leaders are deeply concerned and have been focusing on enhancing training and development programs. While colleges and institutes provide foundational knowledge, the real exposure and learning come from hands-on experience in hotels. In the past, working in hotels provided invaluable exposure, and now, every establishment is striving to groom a new batch of professionals. However, a worrying trend has emerged – the attrition rate is skyrocketing. Employees are leaving for package hikes as low as 15%, which is alarming considering the substantial investment hotels make in training their staff. The cost of training an individual is immense, involving significant time and effort from the training and development teams. When employees leave prematurely, this investment goes to waste. In my opinion, it is critical to retain staff for a minimum of three years to fully realize the value of the training programs and for the staff to significantly contribute to the hotel's success. We need to create a more engaging and supportive work environment to retain our talented professionals. This involves not only competitive compensation but also career growth opportunities, recognition, and a positive workplace culture. Let’s focus on retaining our talent and ensuring that the investments in training and development truly pay off for both the employees and the organizations. #HospitalityIndustry #TrainingAndDevelopment #StaffRetention #GENERALMANAGER #UDAIPUR #EmployeeEngagement #HospitalityManagement #TalentDevelopment #STAFF #STAFFTRAINNING

#KindlyConsiderMe. What I will bring onboard to your hospitality establishment. I am passionate about creating memorable guest experiences. My previous role at the African Tribe Hotel Kampala and my tenure in Qatar with the Accor group allowed me to develop strong customer service skills, such as:- 1. Presence at the hotel. There is no substitute for time spent in the hotel. When the hotel manager is in the hotel, they can easily attend to the situations and issues that may arise. Regular visits to the lobby, kitchen, and laundry facilities will improve your hotel manager’s overall effectiveness. 2. Keeping up with trends. A hotel manager who is up-to-date with the latest trends will make valuable proposals that’ll improve customers’ experience. Also, understanding experts’ opinions will positively impact your hotel’s growth. 3. Leading and motivating hotel staff. For successful hotel management, the manager should motivate staff members to accomplish their tasks. It is no secret that a well-motivated team will outperform an apathetic team. An effective way to motivate staff members is to lead by example. If a hotel manager is willing to put in the work even when it lies outside my hospitality manager's job description, they demonstrate their passion for the job and can inspire the rest of the team. 4. Research. In today’s world, learning opportunities are everywhere. To be more effective, the hotel manager has to recognize and capitalize on these opportunities, research how they can be applied to the hotel, and see how they will benefit the establishment. 5. Open to feedback. Feedback is priceless in any organization, but especially so in hospitality. If the hotel manager can get feedback from visitors at the hotel, they will be able to give valuable insider advice for you to implement. Therefore allow me to, I am a team player and enjoy working collaboratively to achieve common goals. I am confident in my ability to handle challenges and find creative solutions. I am excited to contribute my skills to your team and help your establishment continue to provide exceptional hospitality. Thank you.

One thing I love about my job is the opportunity to work for several sectors, like I am not confined in one sector I am multisectory. Today let's talk about bidding in the Hospitality / Hotel industry. There are numerous opportunities in PBOs( formely Ngos), Parastatals, Government organizations, and Private sectors. These organizations are always seeking the best venues for their meetings, conferences, and accommodation facilities. If you're responding to proposals in this industry, the competition is fierce, and your proposal must stand out. Apart from the necessary statutory documents, organizations often require additional documentation from suppliers: These documents are : - Certificate in Hotel and Restaurant Industry Operations from the Tourism Regulatory Authority - Food Hygiene License from the relevant Government Agency or Certification by Public Health - Quality certificates such as Star ratings accredited by relevant bodies - Certificate from DOSHS for workplace registration - Evidence of insurance cover for premises and staff (WIBA) - Qualifications and experience of personnel like Hotel managers and Chief chefs While specific requirements may vary, having these documents is crucial for suppliers in this sector. Are you aiming to make your proposals or tender responses stand out and secure that contract? Let's connect and explore how we can make this a reality. #yourbidsexpert #letstalktendersandproposals #hospitalityhotels #winningcompellingbids

At Takara Hospitality Group, we have a phrase on each of our restaurant doors that says, "Through this door WALK the best staff in the world." Finding trained and passionate personnel to work in hospitality, especially in the post-COVID era, is not an easy task, all workers in the sector still have fresh in their memories "what it was like to stay at home and what the true price of their job is". Something that we realized from the beginning of the Group is that most companies hire extremely experienced profiles and tried to fit them into their organization charts. Instead, we decided to hire individuals with a desire to learn and train each other. As an example, I come from the aeronautical engineering industry and started working in hospitality 4 years ago, when we opened the now multi-awarded restaurant Takara I hired people who knew more than I knew, such as cooks, cleaners, waiters, receptionists, managers and learned from them. After that, we worked with a premise – we do not have a boss, and we are all bosses and give our opinions for the company's benefit. That is maybe why our staff retention rate exceeds 90%. We believe that attracting talent to our company, and any other, is based on two premises: Firstly, respect and value what you already have inside. It is better to increase loyalty than to hire someone who prevents it from growing. Secondly, if you have to go to the market, hire someone who honestly wants to grow with you. While completed profiles can be spectacular, those yet to be completed will always be more ambitious and can help your business grow. We let each candidate who wishes to join our family know that if in the future, they decide to WALK out our doors, they will do so much more complete than when they entered and being part of the best staff in the world. #saudivision2030 #saudimade #saudiarabia #sauditourism #saudiprojects #saudibusiness #AmbitionandProsperity #ministryofculture #ministryoftourism #takarahospitalitygroup #gea
