Before his presentation, we wanted to pull back the curtain so you can meet the man with over 25 years of embedded experience: 🏆 You've done a lot of things in your career. What's one that you're particularly proud of? Amir: "When I was asked to relocate from Israel to Germany to take the EMEA Business Management of STMicroelectronics. That was a big step and I remember that In the beginning I didn't know where to start. Back then, the Arrow President told me, 'Build a plan and follow it up,' and this is exactly what I did. After five years, the business had doubled and I got the Business Manager of the year. I was very proud of this achievement and it gave me the drive to take more responsibilities in the Embedded Segment to run programs, even globally." 🚀 What's a piece of advice you would give to someone starting in the hardware field? Amir: "'Become an expert in your field and learn something new everyday. Test things by yourself and don't be afraid to fail — you can only learn from this." 🕺 Separate from work, what hobbies do you have that people might not know about? Amir: "My wife and I dance Latin dances like Salsa and Bachata. We have been doing this for almost 20 years." 📖 What's one "must read" book that everyone should have in their collection?
