Certified Digital Marketing Specialist & Trainer : I help CEOs, Founders, Business Consultants, and Start-Ups efficiently utilize tech and digital marketing strategies to build their brands and businesses.
It is learning and doing that makes you "BECOME"!
These are the profound words I recently realized as I interacted with a team of professionals last weekend in a meet & great session.
----------------------------------------------------
In a world where visibility is glorified more than,
Challenge yourself to be consistent enough towards putting-in the work on your vision without getting distracted by other people and desire to prove to the world your capabilities.
Being a master of your craft with proof earns you honor, respect, and gives you access to privileged venues as there is a basis of trust.

This week I got to be a part of one of our INSURICA Rockstar's presentations. Colton Zajac really made me think.
Winning The Talent War addressed 4 big HR issues. Culture, Career Development, Compensation and Benefits. Of course Benefits should be the one I would think is the most important since that is my career, right? But when I thought about it personally, that is not where I landed.
💵 I don't want to work for free....no one does, so Compensation should be my number one right? But that also has not completely shaped my past decisions.
Well then it should be Career Development. We all want to move up and be recognized for our good work. However in looking back on my career path, I don't see that was my deciding factor.
Looks like it is Culture for me. I spend most of my weekdays working and having that positive environment, where I truly feel valued, not just told I'm valued is so important to me.
💡 I was however reminded during the amazing discussion, what we desire even within culture changes all the time. One year it can be team and getting together and the next year it can be flexibility and being able to work remotely.
Needs/Desires/Wants are a revolving door. It's important to stay in touch with your employees, your most valuable assets, to know what is important to them. Know what they value and know when that changes. Most importantly change with them.
I enjoyed getting to watch my co worker and mentor share his thoughts on Winning the Talent War in OKC this week! So many good points to expand upon with clients to help them THRIVE! Colton Zajac
Building Bridges: The Success of H1's First Batch Team Building
The inaugural team building event for H1 Site marked a significant milestone, bringing together our management group and people managers for an engaging 2-day, 1-night experience. From the moment participants arrived, the atmosphere was charged with excitement and camaraderie. Each individual embraced the activities with enthusiasm, showcasing unwavering support for one another.
To ensure the event was meaningful, we tailored the activities to align with our Flex Ways of Working, emphasizing our four foundational pillars. Throughout the program, the themes of respect and valuing others, learning and adapting, and collaborating openly were at the forefront. These elements not only enriched the experience but also reinforced our commitment to a cohesive work environment.
As the event unfolded, it became clear that this was more than just a team-building exercise; it was a celebration of our shared values and aspirations. The bonds formed during this event were palpable, igniting a spirit of collaboration that we hope will extend beyond this gathering.
Looking ahead, we are eager to replicate this success and extend similar opportunities to all employees, fostering a culture of unity and shared purpose throughout our organization. Together, we are building a brighter future.

Professional Speaker, Thunderbird Pilot ‘19-‘21, Combat Veteran, Fighter Pilot, Author, Outdoor Enthusiast ➡️ I can help you get unstuck by empowering you to face your fears and take calculated risks ➡️ Let's connect!
During a recent Q&A event, I revealed the single most effective tool for building trust within a high-performing team:
Every Thunderbird flight, from training to the final show, ends the same way - a debrief.
In that room, we dissect every aspect, watching the tapes and owning our mistakes before they're even pointed out.
Whether it's a new team member or Thunderbird #1, it doesn't matter. We talk it out, learn, and commit to doing better.
When your team can feel comfortable openly expressing errors and areas for improvement, it eliminates the fear, which allows the team to focus on ways to they can get better.
And it's not just about improving skills - it's about building an unshakeable trust within the team. No one is hiding their errors. They are all there united around a common goal.
How does your team handle mistakes and setbacks?
