And that’s a wrap! Yesterday was a very proud day for us InterInvest LGBT+ equality and inclusion We were thrilled to see over 170 industry professionals come together to march in solidarity for Pride. InterInvest would like to thank all our volunteers , pride coordinators and sponsor firms for helping us put together our first Pride brunch—and what a brunch it was! Thank you to all 170 of you for marching with us. We are extremely grateful to have our awesome CGO - Chirf gay officer of pride Salman (Sal) Ali (Sal) Ali, who delivered and led this year’s event! Words cannot express our gratitude. Pride is still a protest, relevant, and important because it reminds us of the ongoing fight for equality, visibility, and acceptance for all members of the LGBTQ+ community. It’s a powerful statement that love, diversity, and inclusion are worth celebrating and defending. Here’s to many more marches, brunches, and milestones in our journey towards a more inclusive industry and society. ‘ #Pride #InterInvest #Solidarity #LGBTQ+ #Inclusion #Equality https://lnkd.in/dt7ejkuB

We started the second day of CMC2024 with a keynote by Mirsad Aljušević, Diversity officer at Erste Group Bank AG. He gave great insights from the bank's diversity strategy which is implemented in 7 European countries and shared inspiring stories from their diverse workforce. One of the interesting takeaways: We need to talk about diversity without talking about diversity. #CMC2024 #diversity #corporatecommunication #marketingcommunication #publicrelations

Gender inequality significantly heightens vulnerability to climate risks yet only 2.3% of climate finance intends to principally support gender equality. So, how do we help build climate resilience for the people who need it the most by addressing underlying social inequalities? Meet Bina Rani Bose. She survived the floods that took her home but she carried on to build a thriving dairy business. She is trying her best to adapt to the climate crisis but the climate funding isn’t.
