Always interesting to see what’s happening in other countries…(AENA, Spain). - 4,09%.. - Barcelona airport expansion… “Management confident on 2024 tariff increase and other politics-related debates: AENA management also reassured on the 4.09% tariff increase proposed for FY24, which has received the approval from CNMC based on 3.5% p-index, but yet has not been confirmed by the government. Should the government not provide any comment by the 1st of March 2024, AENA proposal will automatically be validated, while the company remains confident of government approval. The company does not see a potential regulation on domestic flights that have competing rail services below 2.5h as a material strategic threat, in line with our analysis. AENA remains in wait-and-see mode for the evolution of the conversations between the Spanish and Catalan government on Barcelona airport expansion, which it expects to end "with a positive outcome".
