It all depends on the scale of the conflict and its duration. The most severe consequences of protracted conflicts are those that last for decades and lead to the complete erosion of society and institutions.

Inforamtive and clear chart. The message is clear: Peace means Progress and Prosperity. Has the Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu seen this chart? I believe that the USA, as the main broker in the region, knows that well, also. They are strong members in WB and IMF.
