#UNGASustainabilityWeek: This week marks the UN General Assembly's Sustainability Week, a key initiative aimed at charting a path towards a sustainable future. This week's agenda focuses on enhancing sustainability in key economic sectors with significant growth potential, including sustainable transport, infrastructure, tourism and energy, as well as ensuring debt sustainability and promoting socio-economic equality, especially in developing countries. As we reach the midpoint of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, we need to step up our efforts to advance sustainable development. Supply chains are essential to the drive towards decarbonization, and it's vital that companies prioritize this area to help conserve our planet's resources. In certain industries, the contribution of upstream Scope 3 emissions can be as high as 90%. To find out how the IntegrityNext solution can enable you to extend your climate action beyond your direct operations, please visit our website at at https://lnkd.in/eEwdx6yG. Let's work together to ensure a sustainable future for ourselves and for generations to come. Today we celebrate #EarthDay, a global initiative with a mission to diversify, educate and activate the environmental movement worldwide. I think we can all agree that, as a society, we need to do more when it comes to tackling climate change. But it’s also important to celebrate success and I would like to take this opportunity to recognise some of the #ESG related achievements we’ve had at Ricoh in the last few months: 👉 We have accelerated our #NetZero targets by 10 years 👉 We’ve just received our 10th EcoVadis gold rating 👉 We were ranked among the top 50 companies in Carbon Clean200 2024 list and selected as a member of the Sustainability Yearbook 2024 by S&P Global We work hard to deliver on our commitments to reduce our carbon footprint. And, most importantly from my perspective, we actively work with our partners to do the same. Here’s more information if you’d like to learn about Ricoh’s approach 👉 https://bit.ly/3Fj1a3n
