In my opinion… The most crucial training of them all - MHFAid. In a world where 1 in 4 have a mental illness, it’s absolutely crucial that we do what we can to support our people and create mentally healthy workplaces. Since being accredited last year I have had so many conversations with people around their mental health. Being a mental health first aider gives you not only the skills but also the confidence to know how to approach a conversation around mental health and how to provide support- that can absolutely change a life.

It's an important role within our organisations; for peer support, for early intervention, and for confidence in approaching someone in a supportive way when they're struggling. A two day training session is pretty intensive, and doesn't resolve the confidence or comfort problem you now face talking to someone about their mental health. We've got you!
