💬 Exciting discussions at the 9th edition of #BrusselsFutureTalks on #ResearchSecurity and international Research and Innovation cooperation. A full room at the German Permanent Representation to the EU in Brussels! Klaus Uckel, Executive Director of DLR Projektträger, emphasised the importance of collaboration in his opening remarks: „Excellent research needs international exchange and cooperation. To enable this, we need to strengthen our joint efforts on research security.” Key takeaways from the event: ➡ Research security has become part of academic life. Dialogues at European or international level are more relevant than ever, in order to learn from each other, set our own conditions for cooperation and ultimately to equip stakeholders with tools for #SafeguardingScience. ➡ Translate policy on research security into practical solutions with hands-on tools like #OPERATE. ➡ Let’s engage all stakeholders to co-create effective solutions that are fit for purpose and for the future. Many thanks to the team of the German Permanent Representation to the EU for their great cooperation and a big applause to our speakers for your excellent contributions to the debate 👏 Sandra Lehneke Mirko van Muijen, European Commission Christoph Schwickart Nora van Bracht Gerold Dr. Heinrichs Peter Spyns Angela Schindler-Daniels Ilka Wendt Photo © DLR Projektträger

CBR Space Industry Cooperative is happy to announce that our next CBR Space Breakfast will take place on Wednesday 10th April hosted by ANU InSpace. With our kick off event covering the broad topic of How to make EO relevant, the next CBR Space Breakfast event on Wednesday 10th April will focus on Space as critical infrastructure and what this means for the Asia Pacific region. Taking place in ANU InSpace's offices at 121 Marcus Clarke St in the city, this event will start with networking over breakfast and coffee, followed by a panel discussion that investigates where opportunities exist in our back yard. The panel discussion will consider: - Where can the application of space systems be relevant in the Asia-Pacific region? - What are the commercial market opportunities – data vs information? - How can Canberra-based organisations become more involved in bringing the benefits of space to the Asia-Pacific? The goal of these events is to create more collaborative opportunities to grow space activities in the nations capital and we are proud to have the support of the ACT Government to help make these events happen. The event starts at 830am with the discussion panel taking place from 900-920am before wrapping up at 1000am.
