Imagine if charities measured success not just in numbers of girls in schools or wells provided to communities, but in their ability to create sustainable change. It’s time to re-conceptualize our views of international charity and ensure that we’re truly addressing root causes rather than fixing symptoms. Let’s encourage charities to plan and execute their own exits from other countries, making sure we’re making ourselves redundant and fostering lasting change.

“Make Good Grow saved us over £10,000” - Lisa Carroll Lifespace Trust Our charity cupids have been busy building new relationships, with a special thanks to the team at Fónua for donating 10 tablets to Lisa Carroll at Lifespace Trust. Lifespace’s mission is to give young people the support they need, as soon as life gets tough and for as long as they need it. Some days, like today, I feel heartbroken by the realities of what vulnerable communities face. Picking up of plastic might seem so useless, but I remain resolute in the empowerment of our charities’ EcoChangeMakers programme. The holiday season is done and dusted, but we don't think the spirit of "giving" should end together with it.   We're incredibly grateful for the trust our partners give us, as we are grateful for the many collaborations we've established over the years. This is why we made several charitable donations on behalf of our clients and ambassadors, to emphasise their commitment to progress and making a positive impact.   Their support has gone to: Giro555 - A brilliant fundraising organisation that has raised more than 1 billion euros so far for emergency aid situations!   SOS Children's Villages International - This non-profit organisation goes out of its way to take care of children who don't have anyone to look out for them, or who might lose that someone soon. They provide children with a community they can consider a home in over 130 countries!   The Ocean Cleanup - An incredibly ambitious organisation that not only puts in the hours to clean up plastic pollution in our oceans, but also consistently innovates with new technologies that contribute to that effort.     Generally, business partnerships are looked at as nothing more than that - business.
