In her latest piece for Campaign US, Channing Martin, Global Chief Diversity and Social Impact Officer at Interpublic Group (IPG) shares why, and highlights the incredible IPG Inclusion Award winners including FCB London, FCB Canada and FCB Group India who each took home "Inclusion Campaign of the Year" in EMEA, North America, and APAC respectively, as well as FCB Chicago's DEI team who received the "Agency Inclusion Vanguard Award." Building an Inclusive Culture - Our Journey 🌍 We are honoured to reaffirm that Media Zoo has been named the 'Inclusive and Diverse Employer of the Year' by Corporate Vision Magazine! This award recognizes our ongoing commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging within Media Zoo and through our client partnerships. Yasmine Alani FLPI, our Head of Creative Learning, DEI & Culture, shares our journey and how we managed to achieve it: "Building inclusive cultures can be a challenge, but it's always helpful to set out a solid approach, making sure you reflect on your progress as you go." Our inclusion journey focused on the ABC approach to Inclusion: • Awareness: This looked at building understanding and appreciation of marginalised groups, by running internal campaigns for themes such as Neurodiversity Celebration Week, Black History Month and Deaf Awareness Week • Belonging: Here, we designed unique events and spaces where people could celebrate being themselves, such as hosting a Media Zoo 'Vogue Ball' for Pride, and hosting an internal panel talk for International Women's Day • Connection: This was all about amplifying employee's voices, making them feel heard, and part of the journey.
