At CareHawk, we believe school safety is more than just a priority—it's a responsibility. As we observe School Safety Week, it's a powerful reminder that safeguarding our students and staff requires constant vigilance and innovation. Effective communication during emergencies is critical. That’s why our mass notification systems are designed to provide instant, reliable alerts in any situation—whether it's a lockdown, severe weather, or medical emergency. From customizable pre-recorded messages to multi-channel notifications that ensure everyone is informed, we're committed to helping schools stay prepared and secure, at a district scale. This week, we encourage schools, educators, and administrators to take a moment to review their safety protocols and ensure their communication systems are ready for anything. Together, we can create safer learning environments for all. #SchoolSafety #LifeSafety #CareHawk #MassNotification #SchoolSafetyWeek #EmergencyPreparedness #StudentSafety

Here's what every single #occupationaltherapy professional can do to prevent drowning: ✅ Provide education on the importance of water safety. Many of our clients are at disproportionately high risk of drowning. And, given that we often already address bathing, we can start laying the ground work for swim safety awareness. To make it easier for you to provide this education to our autistic clients (who are 160x more likely to drown than their typically developing peers), we now have a Swim Safety for Autistic Children Fact Sheet for you in our OT clinical resource hub. (Linked in comments.) #drowningprevention #evidencebasedpractice Please share any questions you have or feedback on this handout!
