Content Marketing & Copywriting 🎯 I help SaaS companies simplify their message and communicate it effectively to build online communities of superfans and repeat customers via authentic content writing and copywriting.

Ok, you got my attention. You optimized your subject line, worked on the preview text, and got me to open your email. Now, how do you keep me interested in your newsletter? How do you make sure I want to read the whole thing? Quite the challenge, considering how incredibly short the attention span has become, huh? Have you ever wondered what successful newsletters do to build audiences of millions who can’t wait to open and read each email? Here are three tips from popular newsletters you can implement starting today: 1. Add witty bits. Facts are great and essential, but who doesn’t love a witty touch? Adding a bit of personality by making them smile or laugh is maybe the missing element your newsletter needed. Don’t be afraid to use clever puns or memes relevant to your content. 2. Share stories you, too, are passionate about. Yes, it’s all about the reader and what they find helpful or valuable. But if you’re not drawn to your content, why do you expect your reader to be? 3. Do more research when writing content to stand out from the ones writing about the same old stuff—the more comprehensive your content writing, the more time your reader saves. Also, don’t be afraid to experiment with your layout to ensure engagement and conversions. What’s one of the elements in a newsletter that keeps you hooked? Is it the layout, the visuals, the copy, something else? Comment below!
