I've produced over 600 newsletters in the last ten years. Here's what to avoid: Mistake n°1: Starting too late Mistake n°2: Not knowing your audience Mistake n°3: Selling too much Mistake n°4: Doing too many things Mistake n°5: Lacking consistency Mistake n°6: Focusing on the wrong goal Mistake n°7: Thinking too much about the design Mistake n°8: Failing to persevere https://lnkd.in/eSfYNwgu

Say NO to newsletters ❌ Don't start throwing stones at me! Hear me out: Say YES to Eduletters ✅ When I came to know about Eduletters, I found them to make the most sense and serve the purpose perfectly. And no, they aren't only meant to educate. When you listen to the word "newsletter": -- you imagine more promotional emails -- you imagine more offers & discounts -- you imagine more off-topic news And honestly, that's the reality of 80% of newsletters. Isn't it? But when I say "eduletter": -- think of it as an ongoing email course -- think of it as constant education -- think of it as no-BS value That's why we need more Eduletters 🎯 Companies that move with a value-providing approach don't really have to worry about acquisitions, customers, or sales. You've also seen that, right? Alex Hormozi never had to worry about sales for his books. He gave away all the knowledge for FREE. And that's compounding for him. You gotta do the same. Give. Give. Give. Give. Ask. And repeat the same loop. Are you ready to get your Eduletter in action? DM me now 🚀 PS - Do you have a newsletter or still relying solely on rented social audience? #newsletter #eduletter #emailcopywriting #contentmarketing

Content Marketing & Copywriting 🎯 I help SaaS companies simplify their message and communicate it effectively to build online communities of superfans and repeat customers via authentic content writing and copywriting.
Ok, you got my attention. You optimized your subject line, worked on the preview text, and got me to open your email. Now, how do you keep me interested in your newsletter? How do you make sure I want to read the whole thing? Quite the challenge, considering how incredibly short the attention span has become, huh? Have you ever wondered what successful newsletters do to build audiences of millions who can’t wait to open and read each email? Here are three tips from popular newsletters you can implement starting today: 1. Add witty bits. Facts are great and essential, but who doesn’t love a witty touch? Adding a bit of personality by making them smile or laugh is maybe the missing element your newsletter needed. Don’t be afraid to use clever puns or memes relevant to your content. 2. Share stories you, too, are passionate about. Yes, it’s all about the reader and what they find helpful or valuable. But if you’re not drawn to your content, why do you expect your reader to be? 3. Do more research when writing content to stand out from the ones writing about the same old stuff—the more comprehensive your content writing, the more time your reader saves. Also, don’t be afraid to experiment with your layout to ensure engagement and conversions. What’s one of the elements in a newsletter that keeps you hooked? Is it the layout, the visuals, the copy, something else? Comment below!

I build and manage content marketing programs that drive growth / Specializing in the language services industry 🌎
Don't start a newsletter if you: 🔹 Can't send them out regularly (2x/month) 🔹 Only send links to content on your site 🔹 Call it a newsletter, but it's just a sales pitch 🔹 Copy/paste your blog posts or use it only to promote them 🔹 Don’t plan to create separate, specific content for that 🔹 Don’t have anything new, useful or different to say Newsletters are great - a channel you own where you can speak directly with people who want to hear from you. But it is not easy to do them well and many who jump in quickly (without a plan) find that they bit off more than they could chew. To get a contact's name and then have them unsubscribe? That person is dead to you. 😵 (Although with a good newsletter unsubscribes are a self-cleaning mechanism). Do: 🔹Create content native for the newsletter 🔹Think of it as a long form LI post, but shorter and more casual than a blog post 🔹Always have a call to action (no dead ends) 🔹Spend as much time on your subject as on the body! You can subscribe to mine - link in comments. And you can feel free to tell me if you like it or not!
