Kudos to Dr. Tom Karako and Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) for hosting another most interesting security forum. This week, the spotlight was on #RADM Fred Pyle, N96 on the #CNO's staff at the #Pentagon. The wide-ranging, overarching theme: recent operations in the #RedSea and #MediterraneanSea, building the #futurefleet, and pursuing #globalovermatch capabilities. Of relevance to MS&T: In response Dr. Karako's question, how have the ships [in the Red Sea] been performing?" RADM Pyle responded, "We could not be more pleased with how they are performing. MS&T followers have watched US Navy make significant investments in #surfacewarfaretraining since the service's two horrific collisions at sea in 2017.
