Hello Connections !! Hope all are fine.. Here I share about PLETHYSMOGRAPHY 👉🏻plethysmography measures changes in volume in different parts of the body. The test may be done to check for blood clots in the arms and legs. 👉🏻It is also done to measure how much air you can hold in your lungs. Penile pulse volume recording is a type of this test. 👉🏻A normal ABI falls between 0.90 and 1.30, according to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute . If your ABI falls outside this range, you may have a narrow or blocked artery 👉🏻It can help determine how much air is in your lungs after you take a deep breath in (inhale). Three application of the plethysmograph; pressure-plethysmography (A), airflow-plethysmography from the body chamber (B), airflow-plethysmography from the head chamber (C).
