Innovative stuff... In Switzerland, a mobile overpass bridge is used to carry out road work without stopping traffic. Good solution for major road work needed to be done in US without negatively affecting traffic? What do you think? And how long did it take to assemble and disassemble the bridge? Maybe much longer than the reconstruction itself.

Excellent idea. Very innovative and gets rid of all the angry, pissed off motorists who want to run through the construction zones...and wont have to have the police around to keep an eye on things, either, hopefully. The workers dont have to worry about their lives being threatened by people who drive wrecklessly and might kill them, win-win-win.

Nice idea, but how secure is this? If traffic is driving on an elevated piece of road and they would somehow get involved in an accident, they could much more easily fall onto the other side of the road. Also, the workers have to work in less optimal conditions I would presume. You can see they have to work around those pillars of the overpass bridge (the tandem roller has to go around those pillars to work on the edges). Later on you can see that one of the workers has to duck in order not to bump his head. Apart from this specific solution, I was curious about the personal protection gear. I was missing the ear protection and they were walking in the asphalt and tar fumes quite a bit. Are there no regulations on what to wear?

Everyone keeps talking about the expense. What is the expense of traffic congestion? Road closure, detour routes, increased travel time, what if there is a breakdown or accident in the open lane. What about safety? These folks are not in danger of being hit by a passing car. I think it is very innovative, toad we can't find anyone to think like that here.

The useful application of this idea should be sold worldwide as traffic congestion cost the economy each country millions every day in lost working hours, delay goods and the frustration of billions of commuters all over the world. I personally think that this should use in every country as soon as possible as it would save money and driver frustration which would be good for there mental wellbeing before they get to work and feeling stressed before they even start work becoming more relaxed before starting work will help peoples mental health wellbeing and I think MIND and other people that deal with wellbeing should campaign to ensure that governing bodies bring it in as standard practice worldwide
