To all MBA applicants- An MBA classroom is diverse. Each participant of a reputed B School's Full-Time MBA program is selected for what he or she brings to the table. Here, if your profile is able to draft a different narrative from the rest of the classroom, you surely have a better chance of being selected. Diversity, while being relative and a social construct that is derived from the existing social structures where the B School is located, is still an important factor that accelerates the ranking of a school. (Hablo-Chino? Example- For an Indian BSchool, a diverse profile could be one that is from a non-STEM, non-engineering background, whereas for a BSchool in Europe a diverse profile is one who is from a different country, gender, sexual orientation or religion from the majority of the classroom) No matter what the debate on DEI is, how you stand out from the rest of the applicants is a point to be highlighted. As an applicant, you may not feel that you add to the class diversity if your work-experience or background are similar to other applicants. But, here comes the role of your life-experiences and how you choose to highlight them. Each applicant is unique, each story is unique and therefore each applicant requires to define their own differentiators. Don't forget to highlight your uniqueness, and you will realise how valuable your experiences are and how diverse your profile is. 10 Days MBA or any other MBA program, Here is the reality of MBA. MBA is not worth doing. Unless, you do MBA from Top institutes in their flagship program. Rest if you do MBA from other colleges or even top institute without any entrance exam qualification. It will only cost you money and make you unsuitable for many jobs. Here are some tough truths: 1. Companies will prefer non-MBA candidate over MBA candidate from unrecognised institutes. 2. You will have MBA debts, you will not be motivated to work for less salary and for the similar salary Non-MBA will put better effort. There are exceptions to the case, but majority will face same issue. Here is my advice, Don’t do MBA unless you score well in CAT or other entrance exams and then got the good B-school. #mba #realitycheck #Bschool #10daysmba

An important post about #MBA ⏸️ Many people ask: Do we need to have Master of Business Administration (MBA)? Is it worthy? My short answer is No. Don't go for it. I know people who spend substantial amounts to hold MBA degree. But what is the benefit? Does it add value? Does it enrich your knowledge? Does it increase your hiring chances? I will let you know my personal experience. My employer never asked me to share the certificate. And I believe that most of the organizations are doing the same. Do you need my advice? Invest in yourself, but choose the right investment. Go for the technical certificates that will boost your skills and technical expertise, not for the prestigious certificates that decorate your resume. Invest in learning something that will take your career to the next level. Some people may disagree with me, but I'm not seeing that MBA is adding a true value to an individual's professional life. #master #businessadministration #masterofbusinessadministration #education #degree #tech
