Moroccan Payroll We’ve done it! Our company hired first local employee as of April 1st. Consequently, we had to prepare a payroll run. The process was developed step by step by our HR team supported by local service provider with my small contribution. As labor law varies from country to country so does the payroll process with all these specific remuneration elements, deductions, mandatory charges and voluntary contributions. So we’ve chosen a group of professionals to assist us in this routine. After few weeks of preparation the time has come to run the real procedure. It all started last Thursday, we’ve entered all the standing and variable data, executed the calculations, validated, approved… The process run smoothly, almost like a test. We still have time for payment, but that was tested so many times before with other vendors. Small step towards mature business, but it is always like that. Small important steps.
