🏴⚽️England can't get the job done, but we can! 🚀 🎥 Check out this video that I created for a CEO job in South America🌎. I've utilised rotoscoping and a small animation to keep viewers engaged👀. 📽️ No major transitions or b-roll—just pure focus on Peter Comerford's message. 🎯 Why Clarity and Engagement Matter: Clear and engaging videos are crucial for capturing and retaining the audience's attention. In a world of distractions, delivering your message succinctly is essential. By avoiding excessive transitions and b-roll, we ensure that viewers remain focused on the core content, enhancing the overall impact of the message. 🎯✨ Hope you all like it! 😊 What’s your favorite way to market or advertise? Let’s discuss it! 💬💡 PS: if you’d like to apply for this Job or know someone who does apply with Comton Group Limited today

“I left the job. Yes, I did. I felt lost, unsure of what to film, and no one was giving me clear instructions.” It's a story I've heard repeatedly. Last week, a friend told me he quit his job for similar reasons. “They expected me to come up with ideas that would magically bring in leads!” She said. Many B2B brands hire in-house videographers, but don’t provide clear guidance on what type of videos to make. It's important to establish a structured content approach that a talented videographer can follow. Start by defining your “content pillars” —the core messages that drive your brand and can grab attention with various video formats: → explainer videos → commercials → interviews, and more What tips have you given to help your in-house videographer? P.S. If you find this valuable, please share.

🎬✨ Ready to make a stellar impression with your next job application? Casting directors are on the lookout for the perfect fit, but this looks different for each company, show, etc. BUT! You can prepare by having these materials on hand: 1️⃣ Different length bios: Short & snappy to detailed and in-depth. Think social media caption to program bio 2️⃣ Album of photos: From studio headshots to live performance shots. Feature those costumes and vibes! 3️⃣ Variety of footage: Sizzle reels, demos, full acts, and even improv/training reels. Probably the most involved, but will save your future self SO much time when it comes to quick submissions. 4️⃣ CV/Resume: Tailored to each application, and even to each act or discipline! Keep it to one page if possible and play with linking videos and social media into the text. Good luck! Also... you can use StageLyncPro to help organize all of this for you :) Sign up for free at stagelync.com/sign 🔥 #stagelync #performingarts #castingcall

Linkedin has to do a search and define some terms. I have an alert for film director and art director jobs. What does Linkedin do? send me an uninterrupted flow of jobs as "director of personnel, "section director" "sales director" and similar useless leads. Is it "too freaking difficult" to define what we film/stage directors DO? We don't throw away the time in corporate meetings, that is for sure. Would like useful links, not corporate anythings.

Stop disrespecting people to justify your low resources. I’ve heard it all: - Social media managers just scroll all day. - Photographers have just expensive equipment. - Actors are not really needed, we just want people to stand there. - Makeup Artists? Tell the actors to do it themselves, they’ll do a similarly good job. - Lighting team? We’ll use natural light why we need them? - VO actor? I’ll record it myself, I have a good voice my mum said. - Music, plenty of non copyright and free on YouTube why to pay someone £500 for that. Stop, stop, stop. There is nothing wrong with low resources, budget, or inexperienced teams. Most of us have been there. But disrespecting individuals and job roles to justify your desire to cut corners… It’s really really bad. Your reputation is everything. Protect it from the start. That’s it, that’s the post.

Freelance cameraman & video editor | Helping production companies, agencies & marketers create engaging online video.
Beyond the exciting pictures of expensive camera kit and 'That's a wrap' posts, have you ever wondered what it's really like working behind the scenes in video production? Some may think that it's a fun or glamorous job (both can be true) but like any job in any industry, it can have its highs and lows, as well as challenges to overcome. The truth is the reality of the day-to-day = harder graft than social media might sometimes have us believe! However, regardless of one's role or the scale of a project, no 2 days or video briefs are ever the same, and this is ultimately why it's such a rewarding industry to work in. In this post I share what a 'typical' day might look like as a camera op self-shooting a 1 day conference highlights video for LinkedIn. I'll also be covering other projects in the coming weeks: https://lnkd.in/enGDcY4F #videomarketing
