There’s no “i” in TEAM Youth sports, the first taste of teamwork. I’m a huge advocate for sports on so many levels. The biggest being learning how to be a team player, which transcends into our careers. Not only do I want my kids to grow up with grit, I want them to understand it’s not all about them. Perfect example: I was on a call the other day discussing preliminary financials, expenses, cash flow, debt service ratio, etc. There was a question about expenses and in my small brain, I thought I was simply responding to the question at hand. After I gave my opinion on how to handle the expense…. 𝑺𝑰𝑳𝑬𝑵𝑪𝑬 😬🫣😬🫣 Then agreement and a little laughter. Laughter?! Ugh what did I do or say?! (queue internal anxiety thoughts) Turns out, it was just the passion I relayed (unintentionally) with my opinion and recommendation that prompted the silence and chuckles. Then we all shared the laugh. Commenting on other phone calls with each other about commercial elevator maintenance and commercial real estate leasing, where we hear each other’s passions in different scenarios and I’m one of the silent ones. We’re a team of C level executives who all bring our individual expertise. We trust each other and despite the silence sometimes, challenge each other. We’re thankful for each other and we praised the internal “nerd” in each of us that makes this project grow and evolve. My favorite thing about this property is the respect, camaraderie and appreciation we all have for each other in this circle/team. The gist 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 Do life with people. People who have passion. People who praise you for your internal nerd. People who are grateful for the effort you give. It’s teams like this that win. And I’m all about winning. So I’m thankful to be part of this team. 🫶🏼 P.S. go Fishers #Falcons #teamwork #propertymanagement #development #WYSWYG #financialclarity #nerds #expertise

Anything is possible!!! 🍀 Reflecting on the Boston Celtics' recent win, I'm reminded of Kevin Garnett's iconic words from 2008 - "ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!" This message resonates deeply in the realm of career aspirations and personal goals. Your dreams are within reach; believe it and they are yours! Just like championship stories in sports, professional success often emerges from overcoming adversity. As I continue scripting my story, remember that yours is a work in progress too 💚☘️. Great career (and life) advice from a great leader.
I started my career in New York City. It was a great place for learning, growth and opportunity. On a recent visit, I had the chance to reflect on this time in my life and on some of the advice I’d give to myself if I could or to those of you on LinkedIn who are early in your careers. Do a great job with the one you’re in. It can be easy to focus on the next step but I learned early on that the most important job you’ll ever have is the one you are currently in. Make the most of it and show up every day ready to be the best you can be. Be open minded. Try new things. Don’t be afraid of the unknown. Let me tell you that I certainly didn’t set my aspirations to be an airline CEO. I hadn’t even set foot on an airplane until I was 25. Now I’m a part of the best team in the world at Delta Air Lines. Have someone who believes in you more than you believe in yourself. Keep them in your corner. That’s a true mentor. Lastly, get involved in the community. It’s important to give back and help build the future.

I have attended a couple of interesting events and a breakfast meeting in the last week and these are the 5 key takeaways I found to be very valuable. 1) Givers Gain – be willing to give first unconditionally, before you expect to gain to create new opportunities. 2) Building Relationships – create an environment of trust and support that yields happiness and meaning. 3) Positive Attitude – find the good in everything that happens to us and every person we meet to help propel our lives forward. 4) Accountability – keep the promises you make will create trust and supports strong relationships. 5) Recognition – master the art of recognition which fuels growth and a successful organisation. To become the person you want to be and the solid foundations of a business, these are really good principles to follow. I am looking to give my time and expert parking advice to build those long last relationships always with a positive attitude and taking full accountability for my actions whilst recognising those around me to do the same in return. Should you and your customers have any parking requirements that endorse the five principles above, consider getting in touch, we could be a good fit. It's incredible how this industry can transform lives! On stage, you see two friends who didn't even know each other before embarking on this career path. One was a shy country boy, and the other a stuttering baker-confectioner – a true Dream Team! This picture might speak a thousand words, but let us share a story. A story about how the lives of these two buddies have changed, both internally and externally. Our sector is unique because it offers success opportunities to anyone, regardless of background. It provides the best coaching for real-life improvements and a more positive outlook than I've seen anywhere else in my 20 years of career. In the photo, we are in the foreground, but it's not really about us. The people you see in the background are the real reason we do this. Although we are among the first successful representatives in our company, it's important to remember that we won't be the only ones. There's room at the top for many, and the most successful person in our company might not have even joined us yet. You can start today and be the one to build the biggest business. Success doesn't take away from anyone else. This business isn't perfect, as nothing in the world is, but it's simply better than anything else! LOVE THIS ❤️💪 #DreamTeam #ChangePower #SuccessStory #LifeTransformation #Positivity #TogetherWeCan
