It’s 2023, people today have portfolio careers. I have worked in multiple diverse functions and four different industries but there are clear threads that explain my career decisions. In all my roles I’ve had to have strong communication skills and make sure deliverables happen on time and to budget. Generalists are a powerful addition to your team because they can see a problem with fresh eyes. I’ve just started my new role, another functional change and I can already see where previous experience can add value to the team.
