I love a social media conference, but let's face it, those rarely talk about how unique the health care market is and how many of the usual tips and tricks don't apply. Keeping it Simple on Saturday. You have seen them. I have seen them. Conferences being labeled as interprofessional, but there is no time for interprofessional engagement. I appreciate conferences that welcome multiple health professions. It is a great potential foundation for interprofessional interactions. 2 ideas to elevate multidisciplinary conferences to support interprofessional engagement: 1. Ask speakers to integrate small group discussions to enhance learning of the material. 2. Create time and planned interprofessional opportunities in the conference agenda. What are some other ideas?
