Jair Lynch Real Estate Partners’ Post

We're thrilled to share in the excitement of receiving the CMAA National Capital Chapter's Project Achievement Award for Building of the Year in the $150M+ category for the new Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) Office Headquarters in Alexandria, VA! This achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and collaboration of our team at #JairLynchRealEstatePartners, along with our incredible partners at Procon Consulting. As the fee developers for #WMATA on both their DC and VA headquarters projects, we are honored to contribute to the creation of two modern, innovative, and sustainable buildings. This 425,000 SF facility in Alexandria, designed to meet LEED Gold standards, includes 10 floors of offices, collaborative spaces, and specialized equipment for metro safety monitoring. We're grateful for the opportunity to work on such impactful projects and proud to be part of a team that prioritizes excellence and sustainability in office development. Echoing #Procon, we are also proud of the project's recognition from the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Washington for Excellence in Office Development and the acclaim for the FreelandBuck art installation, Tunnel Vision, which has captured the attention of the design community and local media. Congratulations to all involved, and here's to continuing to create spaces that inspire and innovate! #RealEstate #SustainableDevelopment #LEEDGold #Innovation #Teamwork #JairLynchRealEstatePartners #WMATA #Procon #CMAA #ProjectAchievementAward

The project that keeps on winning! We're honored to receive CMAA National Capital Chapter's Project Achievement Award for Building of the Year in the $150M+ category for the new Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) Office Headquarters in Alexandria, VA. Procon served as the on-site Construction Manager and Quality Assurance Manager for the project's developer, Jair Lynch Real Estate Partners, to ensure this modern, innovative, and sustainable 425,000 SF building was delivered on time and on budget. The building is designed to meet LEED Gold, and comprises 10 floors of offices, collaborative spaces, and data/operations centers with highly specialized equipment for monitoring metro safety. The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) HQ building has already received recognition from Urban Land Institute (ULI) Washington for Excellence in Office Development and the FreelandBuck art installation in the building lobby, titled Tunnel Vision, has received attention from multiple design outlets and local media, including Washingtonian Magazine. Here, the Procon and Jair Lynch Real Estate Partners teams pose with the award at the CMAA National Capital Chapter Project Awards and Scholarship Dinner.
