"The Method" On Uncooperative Robots In clay shooting, the "sustained lead" method is used on cooperative targets, where the correct lead is known in advance, as in Skeet and Trap. Against uncooperative targets, where the lead is not known in advance, as in Sporting Clays, competitive shooters use the "Pull Away" method, referred to as "The Method” - a variant of Tracking. Not surprisingly, we have found in VR simulators that The Method is more effective against uncooperative clays, drones, vehicles and robotic targets. The more "uncooperative," the fast and far the mover, the more effective is The Method. Bring on your most Uncooperative Robots 😎

To my drone colleagues. I am considering commercializing a CU Boulder tech that uses AR for human-drone teleoperation. The big question is who (what customer segment) has a problem that this technology can solve. If you have thoughts, please put in the comments. From the sofware perspective here are some of the validated pipelines: - Using Augmented Reality (AR) to Communicate the Internal State of the Robot: including visualizing the robot's direction, path, speed, and plan. - Using AR to Assist the Operator in Controlling the Robot: Involves showing how each input affects the robot, making it easier for the operator to control. - Using AR to Help the Operator See the Robot's Sensor Outputs. #drones

Robotics, 3D/XR, and flying cars are no longer futuristic fantasies, they're the daily grind (or should we say "glide") in Ron Kijan's visionary 2064. Imagine!! Buildings that dance with your mood, augmented reality painting your walk with interactive art, and holograms shimmering from every corner. Your AI co-pilot anticipates your every need, while robots handle the mundane, freeing you to unleash your creativity. Look up! Drone fleets weave through the skies, delivering hope and scaling skyscrapers like futuristic spiders. And soaring alongside them? Flying cars, their windshields morphing into real-time traffic maps and holographic tourist guides. This isn't just sci-fi; it's the dawn of a future where robots save lives, drones deliver hope, and flying cars conquer traffic jams. But with great tech comes great responsibility. What excites you most about it? Will AI be our ultimate assistant or biggest competitor? Share your thoughts and anxieties in the comments below! Interesting to see how drones represent a new frontier in the art of sky spectacles, offering boundless possibilities for innovation and expression. One thing that can to my mind is the future possibility of using drones to expanding advertisements, enriching our skies with new dimensions of marketing.
In the world of sky spectacles, drones are not contenders but innovators. They offer an alternative to fireworks, not a replacement. This shift is about leveraging creativity and originality to paint the sky with new experiences. It’s about harnessing the power of technology to realize the dreams of artists and creators. Drones can craft stories in the sky that fireworks simply can't! #CreativeSky #DroneLightShows #ArtisticInnovation #AI #CroAI #AILawyer

Researchers at ETH Zurich have created a system where a drone juggles a ball with a special "racket" attachment. This isn't just a party trick. It helps improve how drones interact with objects and control their movements. The project explores how drones can predict object movement and react, with uses in human-robot collaboration and advanced drone maneuvers. I must say, they're pretty skilled.
