David Pocock After months of pushing, today Senator Jacqui Lambie and I reached agreement with the government to bring forward elements of their industrial relations omnibus bill. Our agreement means that first responders will - from 1 January - find it much easier to access support for PTSD they acquire on the job. It is legislation that will save lives. …Dedicated to the dangerous formulations made by some Justices in the context of recent Supreme Court’s case about presidential immunity: 246 years ago thirteen states agreed signed and then, ratified the U.S. Constitution starting with the Preamble: We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. No government or its representatives were created by the will of the People of the United States but only the U.S. Constitution with its provisions first. By one of the U.S. Constitution provisions-specifically Article VI, Clause 2 The People of the United States promulgated the U.S. Constitution as The Supreme Law of the Land and mandated that any other law shall be made in pursuance thereof. By Article VI, Clause 3 they also mandated that all executives […] of the United States […], shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution. Such a created structure is a fact of no little significance. The U.S. federal government including the U.S. President as a head of the executive power exist only as a proxi of the U.S. Constitution which they are bound to support and abide by as well as any other laws of the U.S. created in pursuance of the Supreme Law. By simple logic, the mere proxi of the highest Supreme Law cannot claim that he or she is above it and has absolute immunity in front of it. Therefore, the internal formulations of some Justices about absolute immunity of the U.S. President before the law factually made those Justices a traitors of the U.S. Constitution and professionally incompatible to continue their duty to protect the Constitution by sitting in the Supreme Court and securing the will of The People of the United States established in the U.S. Constitution. #USConstitution #Constitution #Constitutionallaw #SupremeLaw #supremeCourt #presidentialimmunity #theruleoflaw
