Another Defence Counter CBRN Advisor completed. I couldn't ask for a better group of students with a lot of cross knowledge from all areas within defence. Officers, WOs' and SNCOs' develop their newly learnt advisory skills and understanding the challenge of communicating whilst wearing their GSR during the phase of working with the warning and reporting Cell course to form a CBRN Cell. More shaping, development and improvement of the course is required as we (Defence) go through a change of warfare. #coldwar #cbrn

A significant protective posture enhancement for operating in one of the most chaotic and uncertain high-risk environments.
Our Joint Project Manager for CBRN Special Operations Forces (JPM CBRN SOF) team recently completed fielding and achieved Full Operational Capability (FOC) for the Individual CWMD Uniform Pack (ICUP) to USSOCOM. The ICUP is a specialized container for personalized protective equipment that allows warfighters to transport and quickly access CBRN protective devices. By achieving FOC, our special operations forces will have another critical capability they need to fight and win in CBRN environments. Below is a photo of an ICUP prototype. To learn about other capabilities we provide to the joint force, check out our newly updated Capabilities Catalogue: https://lnkd.in/gV4acjSs #JPEOCBRND #CBRN #SpecialOperations #SOF #Protection

Force-on-force training A crucial component of military and police cqb training. Tactical Simulations emphasizes that force-on-force (FoF) training is essential for military personnel. It involves combative engagement simulations where forces square off against opposing teams to develop mission-critical skills and survival abilities. In self-defense contexts, FoF training uses simulated firearms to engage real people role-playing threats. The objective varies based on the specific training type, but it consistently induces the fear and stress of life-threatening situations, enhancing preparedness. Tactical Simulations - Force on Force Training Force-on-force training has gained recognition as an essential component of CQB education and its method of engaging with real people who role-play as potential threats while using firearms that fire non-lethal projectiles. This training platform creates realistic and high-stress environments, allowing trainees to experience and respond to threat scenarios in a controlled setting. By simulating real-life situations, force-on-force training provides numerous benefits that traditional flat-range target shooting cannot offer. Trainees develop crucial decision-making skills, effective communication, and the ability to react under pressure. This training platform has proved to be significantly superior to traditional firearms training, inducing stronger physiological stress reactions in trainees and provides more effective learning. Essential in preparing military and police units for potentially life-threatening situations. www.tac-sim.co.uk #forceonforce #cqb #urban #combattraining #scenarioplanning #military #armedforces #armedpolice #armedsecurity #armedforcescovenant #infantry

Project Sapient, A veteran-owned training and consulting company for Law Enforcement officers and agencies. Instructor for Commonwealth Police Legacy. Published Author.
From the book Left of Bang: Combat profiling is a valuable technique that enables military personnel, such as Marines, soldiers, and even law enforcement officers, to proactively identify potential threats by observing human behavior. To effectively use combat profiling, it is crucial for the operator to maintain an active awareness of their surroundings. This method equips individuals with the skill of developing situational awareness rapidly. Situational awareness entails the ability to interpret both the environment and the people present. However, it is equally important to distinguish between relevant and irrelevant information. Not everything observed contributes to threat identification. Another key skill in combat profiling is the capability to determine which indicators are significant and directly related to personal safety. This involves being able to recognize both obvious and subtle cues from the physical environment and people's actions. Let me ask you this.....do you think it is important to train our law enforcement officers to assess dangerous situations in a more scientific approach? #CombatProfiling #ThreatIdentification #ObservingBehavior #ActiveAwareness #SituationalAwareness #ObservingEnvironment
