I'm a huge fan of public transit (I do my part to eliminate another car on the road) and kudos to you all for thinking about strollers, shading, and seating! I recently watched a video by an urbanist in NYC who did a small experiment where she would see how many blocks it would take to find a seat to tie her shoe (Spoiler: it took many, many blocks). In a city like NYC that boasts about being walkable it was not very friendly to its walkers. It took blocks and the urbanists gave up after about 2 hours of walking. I imagine how many people-- elderly, disabled, young children, parents, etc that are discouraged to walk because of the additional problems they are sure to face. Very happy JBPro was able to work on this project! (edit: Speaking of strollers and ADA, one of the things I noticed for some Gainesville RTS stops is that they are placed on a gravel/rocky pathway. I'm sure there was some discussion before placing these stops there, however it always made me scratch my head. )
