The Sydney Opera House has lit up with a solemn black ribbon to reflect the country’s heartbreak following Saturday’s Bondi massacre. The knife rampage at Bondi Junction Westfield in Sydney’s eastern suburbs left six innocent people dead and more in hospital. As night fell on Monday, the Opera House, the central marker of Sydney’s global city status and Australia’s most beloved piece of architecture, transformed with a black ribbon projected onto its legendary curved white sails. 📸: NSW Government

news.com.au remains the number one #digital #news brand in Australia, according to Ipsos rankings released today. There were 12.423 million Australians that visited news.com.au in February, with an average time spent on the site of 28 minutes per person. We also had the largest video audience for news consumption at 1.114 million, with 18 million video views for the month. Editor Kerry Warren said February was all about Taylor Swift, with the frenzy around her Aussie tour dates driving the site’s second biggest entertainment number since Ipsos iris launched in January last year. "We went all-in on Taylor Swift mania, running coverage of every concert, launching a dedicated vertical video carousel and even changing our logo to a news.com.au friendship bracelet. The Tay Tay effect also saw news.com.au enjoy millions of video views, particularly on mobile with our vertical video platform." Read more here: https://lnkd.in/g4EhNezb
