  At the International Roofing Expo this week, trainer Kevin White of Thryv told roofing and exteriors contractors that while texts, emails and social posts are important for business, they need to be making more phone calls. “One thing that the world is missing now is human communication. Customers don’t want (interaction) to just be transactional. ... That’s a great takeaway. The millennial in me never wants to pick up the phone if I can avoid it but I’m trying to get better about that. There is so much more connection with a call.
