When I was planning to switch, 6months after working in my first job, everyone one said it’s too early to switch, you have overall 6months experience which will reflect bad in your resume, you will not be hired, etc.
I kept preparing, solving problems , revising concepts and kept applying on a daily basis.
Here are a few learnings and lessons I want to share with you if you are also planning to switch:
🗣️ If you see that your work is not meeting your expectations, then it’s time to think that are you spending your time and energy at the right place.
🗣️ Prioritise your learning, financial growth, healthy work environment, and opportunities in your organisation.
🗣️ Don’t just work at one place because you are too lazy to step out of that comfort zone and allocate few hours daily for preparation.
🗣️ Stay silent while you are working on your next target, you might get distracted or disturbed when others get to know that you are willing to leave.
🗣️ In the hustle of going to office daily, following a routine and working on a project don’t forget to evaluate yourself and your work time to time. If you think you r the smartest person in a room then it’s time to change the room.
🗣️ Make a strong resume, get it reviewed by people, apply rigorously daily to multiple companies, even accept some basic offers so that you have a room for negotiations.
What is one lesson that you want to share that you learnt in your job search journey?
