Monday Morning Motivation Monday mornings can be a bit dull, but today was different. Being at the reception area and handling my duties in recruitment and HR, I'm the first person agents and visitors see when they come in. Our first visitor today was a developer. He walked in and said, "Good morning, I'm here to contribute to the meeting." I replied with a smile, "Good morning." He then asked, "Are you new?" I said, "Yes." He responded, "It's nice to walk in on a Monday morning and see someone so welcoming and smiling. You're going to do great in this job." Just a nice little compliment like that can really give you a good kickstart to the week. Usually, on a Monday, I'd be in that 'can't be bothered' mood, but since I saw that gentleman this morning, he's made me feel great, and now I'm sitting with spirits high, ready to take on the week. Let's make the week even better by keeping me busy and sending your CVs over to careers@richkey.ae. We have open vacancies for off-plan and secondary agents. What does Richkey have to offer? ➡ Luxury car services to viewings ➡ 150-200 generated leads from all platforms ➡ Fastest company to pay out commission, even in off-plan #MondayMotivation #JoinOurTeam #RichkeyProperties #RealEstateJobs #DubaiRealEstate #CareerOpportunities #KickstartTheWeek

So - you have either quit, been laid off, or terminated. What now? It's emotional. It's confusing. It's hard. Regardless of how it happened, it happened. Now what? I'm sorry to say there is no one way or one right answer. Everyone is different and we all have different emotions. Here is what I have recommended to candidates in the past ... * Take a few days for yourself. Movie, sleep in, binge watch whatever you want. The remote control is YOURS. Then set a routine for your day. This has been my routine in the past. * Up and brush teeth * Coffee (love my milk frother) * Email and LinkedIn * Make a list of what you want to accomplish over the week - When complete, cross off with a big black sharpie. So satisfying - Place a yellow cap on your sharpie so no one steels yours. - Who wants a yellow sharpie??? * Play music loud - the acoustic version of Creep by Radiohead is fantastic. * Shower and get dressed. Yes, sweats are ok. * Back to the computer and work on either your resume, research, etc - Remember - You can contact me and I can help with your resume * Lunch. * Run an errand, go to a movie, get out of the house, go walking, something * Computer - yes, one must check in again * Now, if you have more time - clean out that drawer, closet, under the bed mess. Take an hour and just tackle it. Cleaning out is not only emotionally freeing, this is your opportunity to do it and get rid of clutter. You will be back to work soon. You will be busy soon. Take this time for yourself and clean out the junk drawer. #UnifiedExecutiveSearch #Recruiting #Recruiter #Recruitment #Career #Hospitality #HotelCareers #HospitalityCareers #Resume

It's the end of an era! Goodbye Corporate Nomad RV, hello Kimberly Hosking. When I first transitioned to full-time RV living, I was excited to share about how traveling was possible while still working a corporate job. I created a TikTok and Instagram account titled "Corporate Nomad RV". I updated my LinkedIn profile too. At work, my uniqueness stemmed from traveling, but in my RV circles, my uniqueness stemmed from the fact that I worked in Corporate America - and I was so incredibly proud of it. It was fun for a while - sharing my experiences of straddling my corporate life with my RV life. I even had a video on TikTok go fairly viral with 3M views! But something shifted over time. I was forming a whole identity outside of my job. My bucket was being filled in ways it never had before. I was enjoying my real life so much more than my work life. I no longer cared about climbing the corporate ladder and instead focused on climbing nearby hiking trails. I stopped posting on TikTok and Instagram - I renamed them or shut them down all together. I shifted my LinkedIn approach, focusing on creating a whole life, rather than a career. I found a new job that allowed me to work part time and set my own schedule. I became really, really happy and no longer cared about impressing people with my corporate status or big salary. Today I parted with the last of my "Corporate Nomad RV" identity - I changed my LinkedIn URL to my name instead. Because I am a whole person, not just a job title. ______________________________ Hi there 👋🏻 I’m Kimberly Hosking and I post about: 🏕️ living and traveling full time in my #rv 👩🏻💻 recovering from being a #workaholic 💻 #icims + other #recruiting software tips If any of that sounds interesting, follow along ❤️ If you find my content helpful, interact or share ♻️ If you need TA/HR software support, message me 📩

What are your deal breakers when it comes to looking for a new role? 🔨 All of us have things that we simply aren’t willing to give up or change and it’s no different when you’re on a new job hunt. It's important to know what are YOUR non-negotiables? (and we urge you to think about your own and not what your colleague who just left to work somewhere else is saying that theirs was...) And don't worry! We’ve heard it all before. Everything from no late nights and no weekend work through to I’ll need to bring my dog into work on my office days! But when it comes down to it, what’s realistic and what’s not? Well, that really depends on why you’re looking for a new job. Some things are more tangible than others, for instance: 💰Salary is often a non-negotiable, especially when you’re leaving because you think you’re being undervalued. 😎 Extra holiday days are important to you. 🛤️ You can only manage 1 or 2 days a week in the office. ❤️🩹 A Healthcare package is a must. While others have more to do with aligning your values and behaviours such as: 💪A good management team with a strong company culture that aligns with your values. 🕐 More autonomy over your workload and flexible working hours. 🟰 A good reputation as a diverse and inclusive employer. The list is endless. But, as a candidate it’s important to know what it is that you are willing to negotiate and what is an absolute deal breaker. These are the kinds of conversations that we have every day with potential candidates. We chat about what’s important to you, not just in a job, but also in your life too. This helps us find the right company and the right role to introduce you to! 😊 We don’t just send your CV out to loads of folks and hope for the best. So lets chat! You can drop us an email anytime on: emma@urbanberry.co.uk Emma Gregory caroline@urbanberry.co.uk Caroline Wakil We look forward to speaking to you! #urbanberryrecruitment #travelrecruitment #traveljobs #businesstravel #traveltech

I teach bold, outspoken coaches how to effectively market & sell your offers, so you can work with ‘drooling over you’ dream clients, scale up to £30k+ months & grow your business into a fully-fledged empire 💁🏻♀️
Last week, I hired a new team member so I can go to the beach on random mid-week afternoons, without any of the guilt. Here’s why it’s important for you 🥳 If you’re anything like me, you did NOT start your business to be chained to your desk for 8+ hours a day, trying to search for clients to pay you 😰 But the reality is exactly this for most business owners. You started your business to be able to: 💥 Take time off whenever you want 💥 Enjoy your life outside of a rigid 9to5 structure 💥 Go to afternoon gym classes (or the beach!) to avoid busy peak hours But when you’re not making enough money each month to cover your bills and living expenses, taking time off comes with BIG GUILT 🥺 🧨 “I shouldn’t be taking time off when I need more money” 🧨 “I need to put more hours in to find more clients” So you end up in a perpetuating cycle of either: ❌ Never taking the time off that you started your business for OR ❌ Taking the time off anyway but feeling guilty af for it This doesn’t need to be the case for you. There IS a happy medium where you can: 🔥 take time off whenever you want 🔥 still bring in enough money each month to afford your dream life of luxury BUT it’s not as simple as just hiring team members and getting them to do the work. Because IF: 🦄 You’re struggling to convert clients into your offers 🦄 People don’t step forward to buy from you on the regs 🦄 You don’t have a solid system in place for taking on new clients Hiring admin support won’t help to solve those problems for you. You first need to have an offer that is so smoking hot & well positioned for your ideal buyer, that you’ve got endless people jumping into your offers any and all days of the week 🔥😎 Sounds nice? This is what my upcoming offer is teaching you but sssh, I’m not saying too much yet ;) What are you up to this Saturday? I’m having a day of work after taking multiple half days off this week 😏
