It's wonderful to see countries sponsor initiatives to elevate the teaching profession. The plan below is sponsored by the Australia's Department of Education, and is designed to address future teacher shortages. While this initiative was started in 2022, it's interesting to see how it has been adapted over the course of the last two years. One interesting new project is to help teachers use AI to reduce their administrative workload and spend more time with students. It will be interesting to monitor progress on this initiative as it moves forward. Here is the link to that initiative: https://lnkd.in/eAnqAsTv While it's unfortunate that it often takes a crisis to prompt such action, I commend the Australian government for their proactive and thoughtful approach. Their commitment to strengthening the teaching profession is commendable, and I hope other nations are paying attention and considering similar efforts.
