Welcome to our universe, JPL interns 💫 We recently celebrated the arrival of the interns who will be helping us #DareMightyThings this summer. At our kickoff event, interns got to know more about one another and about JPL over networking, games, and refreshments. #LifeAtJPL #NASAJPL #JPLInterns

  • Interns pose for a group photo in front of a banner featuring Perseverance on Mars. A few hold up NASA and JPL signs.
  • Two photos appear in a collage. One shows interns gathered around a table playing a word-building game with wooden letter tiles; the other shows a group of interns in front of the Perseverance banner.
  • Interns stand in a half circle, showing off an impressive structure they built from large wooden blocks.
  • Two photos appear in a collage. In one, a group poses with the Perseverance banner; in another, interns stand at high tables with umbrellas on the mall, which is lined by trees.
  • Six interns stand together around a high table covered with bento boxes. An umbrella blocks the sun, and in the background, more interns can be seen socializing.

This internship program at JPL seems highly attractive and well-organized. The kickoff event, featuring networking, games, and refreshments, provides a great platform for the interns to bond and familiarize themselves with the organization. It's evident that JPL values the input and potential of these interns, as indicated by the warm welcome and the focus on #DareMightyThings. This initiative holds the promise of nurturing young talents and fostering innovation within the JPL community. The use of hashtags like #LifeAtJPL, #NASAJPL, and #JPLInterns also showcases a modern and engaging approach to promoting the program and building a sense of community. Overall, a commendable start to what is likely to be a fruitful and mutually beneficial internship experience.

Now you need to find the time to walk to building 170 and tour the machine shop. Parts made there are out of this world.

This is such a great opportunity. We can't wait to hear from our Kiwi interns about their adventures at JPL.

Having the summer interns at JPL is a very rewarding experience for everyone. They bring energy to the Lab and are some of the brightest minds that will eventually guide us into the future.

It's a terrible idea to accept internship opportunities at companies that are going through layoffs. They will not offer you jobs. You don't want to waste your talent and your most productive years of your career under the failed leadership of Laurie Leshin. Incompetent leaders promote a culture of obedience and push out creative thinkers.

Hello to you, these internship programs are a great event for open-mindedness, but sometimes French-speaking countries are excluded from these programs. The ability to speak English must be a reason.
