I used to feel so frustrated during the winter months—tired, unmotivated and unable to keep up with my usual pace. I’d push through, trying to maintain the same level of productivity as in other seasons. Can you relate? In today’s fast-paced world, with constant pressure to do more, it’s no surprise that many of us feel this way. Over the past couple of years, I’ve learned to embrace the rhythm of the seasons. What's My Body Telling Me? Symptoms and their Meanings June 4th, 2024 B is for Balance (Loss of) I'm sure you know the feeling of having so much on your mind, that you just lose your balance. I spend a ton of time in that vast (mostly empty) space called my head too. It's dangerous. When we spend so much time worrying about so many things and juggling all the mental balls that we do, we literally and figuratively, lose our Balance. Dizziness, losing your balance these things are because you are putting all your energy up into your thought Chakras. Especially your Criwn and 3rd Eye! If all of your energy is focused there, how do you expect to be grounded? When we do this we are pulling energy from our Roots. What happens to a tree in a windstorm if they don't have any roots? That's right! They fall over. What makes you think you're different? So the next time you lose your balance and you find you have racing, anxious thoughts, please do me a favor and take a step outside, barefoot, and put your feet in the grass and take some deep, grounding breaths. You'll get back to feeling grounded as you pull that energy down. It's ok, life can be crazy. Stay in the Now and stay grounded.
