✨𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 ✨ Those who know me are aware that coaching holds a special place in my heart, not just for the outcomes achieved by myself or my trainees, but also because it's where I feel completely in my element, fully engaged, and relishing every moment. Seeking to deepen this passion in my professional life, I stumbled upon a fantastic opportunity at Amdocs as a career coach. 𝐀𝐦𝐝𝐨𝐜𝐬' 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 was established to empower employees to navigate their career paths with confidence and make informed decisions. Amdocs sees great value in encouraging its employees to develop their careers, and dozens of career coaches worldwide were trained using methodologies developed by macademia - מקדמיה. We have also participated in supervisory groups and engaged in peer consultations, all under the guidance of Tzvia Reinhold , the manager of this amazing initiative! In this capacity, I had the privilege of coaching Amdocs employees from diverse backgrounds and locations across various career stages and roles- from developers, project managers, and marketing managers to HR managers, spanning India, Israel, Italy, the USA, and more.🌍 Through this experience, I gained insights into both the common challenges and values shared among all employees and the unique strengths and aspirations of each individual, understanding what motivates them at work, what brings them fulfillment, and what support they need to thrive.🌱 This initiative stands out in the corporate world, fostering professional development alongside daily responsibilities for both employees receiving training and those coaching them. Happy new year 🥂 I posted a reflection last year, as it marked one year since I had taken on the role of People Manager within the Account Management Team at TravelPerk. The second year has definitely marked very different learnings, if I codify them into a few points they’d be the following: 🤗 Lean on your own Manager but don’t be afraid to make gut calls / have the confidence in yourself to make bold decisions. ✔Know very clearly what person you are looking for when you hire; aspirations, fit with the Team, coach-ability. Use that check-list. Stay consistent. 🙏Embrace the diversity of opinions and don't take it personally. Not everyone will resonate with you, and that's perfectly okay. 🎈Have fun and spend quality time with your Team :) ❤️Your Team’s success is your success. But don’t forget yourself along the way! Take the time and find the space to continue growing. Stretch yourself. 2023 has not always been easy from this perspective, but it’s incredible to see the Growth Team (SDRs, Sales Execs and Account Managers) flourish! 🌱 The journey continues and I am very excited to see what 2024 has in store. 🚀🔥

2022 and 2023 have been pivotal times for me. I've journeyed from exiting EPAM/CORE to founding and embracing the role of managing director at Grey Swan. This transition marks a period filled with growth and new challenges. Something that guides me in this new role and from the transition from director to managing director is the insights from Peter Drucker's book "The Effective Executive." If you haven't read, Drucker's core idea is about getting the right things done, focusing on what matters, and steering clear of unproductive paths, this theory was confirmed as truth at the turn of the last year. Here are the 6 practices I live by: 💪 Do what you're made for: Leveraging my strengths in program management. 📝 Prepare better meetings: Ensuring clear agendas and disciplined follow-ups. 📅 Manage yourself first: Improving my performance to uplift my team. 🎧 Work how you work best: Embracing flexible, hybrid work modes. ⏳ Managing time: Focusing on one thing at a time. Friday marked a cool career milestone, 25 years to the day since I began my adventure in Corporate America with Accenture (business cards, anyone?). Reflection is a powerful tool - here are three of the many things I’ve picked up along the way. (Thanks for the inspiration Russ Trotter, Rolfe Hughes and Dave Frost!) ➡️ Be human. In many workplaces I’ve been in, interactions often revolve solely around tasks and goals, neglecting the human side and interpersonal dynamics. Strong teamwork hinges on authentic inclusivity and building a supportive atmosphere. There is only one you – bring it!   ➡️ Learn constantly. Staying ahead in marketing requires continual learning and staying updated on new technology, emerging trends, and evolving consumer behaviors. But learning and growth comes in other forms too. Life and work inevitably present challenges, yet what distinguishes individuals is their ability to glean lessons from adversity.   ➡️ Lead, no matter your position or role. Regardless of job title, anyone can lead by setting a positive example, igniting inspiration and focusing on what’s possible. Many of us talk a lot about not worrying with things we can’t control. When you are leading, keep yourself in check – while you can’t control some things in the environment around you, you can certainly change your attitude toward them.

I’m lucky, I haven’t had to look for a job since 2008. And here’s why! I saw a post today that reminded me of teammates that came with me, or I brought over when I transitioned from IBM > to Ernst & Young > to Royal Caribbean > to Sony Music > to Merck > to Estée Lauder. The quote said … “MOST people don’t want to be part of THE PROCESS, they want to be part of the OUTCOME. But the process is where you find out, who’s worth being part of the OUTCOME!” And it’s so true! I’ve managed global teams as large as 830, and as small as 150, and I have 11 that I can count on, would hire in a heart beat, and would consider it a privilege to work with again. They’re motivated, driven, don’t complain, focus on the solutions, are willing to take bad with the good, and see beyond the weeds. When the opportunity arises, I call them first, and do everything possible to exceed their expectations on title, comp, and role because THEY ARE WORTH IT! So the lesson here is … whether you’re happy where you are, or have higher aspirations, remember, it’s not always about where you’re going, but also about who you report into and where they are going! Be a GSD’er (one who gets SH*T done), and you’ll have job offers for life. Reflecting on My Career Journey My career is something that I am blessed with when it comes to the memories that have made me what I am today in my professionalism. From starting off in franchise management to leading multiple stores at O Boticario, each step has taught me invaluable lessons in perseverance, leadership, and innovation. For instance, I am grateful for having had the opportunity to work with outstanding teams and drive impactful projects that have immensely improved my strategic thinking along with problem-solving skills. Notably, there was a time when we initiated digital transformation at O Boticario which not only increased our sales but also improved customer satisfaction significantly. This project showed us the need for adaptability as well as being ahead of industry trends. Engaging oneself into continuous learning and taking up new challenges are some of the things that make people successful. Similarly, while progressing in my career journey, I pledge to promote innovation among other positive changes in my teams as well as the wider sector. Even though some of my coworkers celebrated more than eight years in Atea Global Services Ltd., I get to enjoy my first! 😅 1️⃣ Looking back on my first year as an IT Project Manager, I thought that my lack of technical experience would be my biggest obstacle and in the beginning (still to this day) was a real rollercoaster of information and tech lingo. Although improving my technical knowledge has been a top concern, I've come to recognize that an IT Project Manager's genuine contribution is found elsewhere. Our greatest contributions come from our leadership abilities, communication prowess, capacity for negotiation, strategic project management, and proficiency in handling stakeholder concerns. Here's to the next milestones in #ThePlaceToBe

We are diverse, we are stronger. Now that I have left Procter & Gamble for some years, I know what I learn from this experience. I could talk about great marketing leaders, and training... but it is not what left the deeper change in my understanding of the business world. I worked at a couple of European companies before, and what was the most striking was the multicultural aspect. You join P&G, and immediately, you work with hundreds of people from different countries and different horizons. It is not about Corporate Social Responsibility, it is about performance. A team is stronger when you have diverse people period. In Europe, you can admit other people because you want to look good in your corporate communication. In a true multinational company like P&G, you hire people from different cultures and backgrounds to be the best. I would have never thought of that before joining P&G, I would have structured my business the same way without this experience, and I would have probably completely crashed the company with only "Like me" people at emazing. We will succeed not despite of our diversity, but because of it.
