Many Disney princesses face challenges and setbacks on their paths to achieving their dreams, much like the challenges we encounter in real life. For example, Cinderella's resilience in the face of adversity can be seen as a lesson of perseverance and determination. Similarly, Ariel's pursuit of her dreams in "The Little Mermaid" can be compared to our own desires to reach for our goals, even when it seems difficult or impossible. Furthermore, the impact that Disney princesses have on the people around them can be likened to the impact we strive to make in the lives of others. Whether it's through acts of kindness, standing up for what is right, or being a source of inspiration, the princesses' journeys can inspire us to a make positive impact in our own communities. In our own lives, we can draw inspiration from Disney princesses by embracing their resilience, determination, and commitment to making a positive impact. By working towards our dreams with perseverance and striving to make a difference in the lives of others, we can embody the spirit of these beloved characters and create our own inspiring stories.

LEGENDARY😎!!! What a great reminder from Miley Cyrus to keep on going even when it seems scary! In her own words: “It’s legendary to be afraid and do it anyway. There is no such thing as failure when you try.” Thank you Miley for such #inspiring words and for being #recognized as a The Walt Disney Company Legend! It’s definitely an inspiring and #fulfilling thing to try and make that #dream come true, to try and #build that company from the ground up, to try and #move to another place… Although, with true sincerity I tell you, it comes with a harsh truth: Fear! Fear of #change, fear of the unknown, fear of failure… And from experience I can honestly say that fear never truly goes away… and the mind is truly no friend whenever things feel scary… But even when it all seems blurry, full of uncertainty, it’s imperative to keep going! Because it’s when it feels scariest that the jump is needed. So, let’s take that leap and make that dream come true, begin that new business venture, move to another place… because facing fear is exponentially easier and better than regretting. So, in the extraordinary words of Miley Cyrus: “IT’S #LEGENDARY TO BE AFRAID AND DO IT ANYWAY.” LET’S BE LEGENDARY💪🏻💲✨!!! #legendary #motivation #mileycyrus #disney #grow #protect #legacy

I'm not quite a legend. But I did it scared. I started my Care Management business because I saw the impact I could have and I knew that was bigger than my fear. Everyday and every setback, I push through and keep doing it scared. That has allowed me to do things I never believed I was capable of. #Nurses. Entrepreneurship can be scary but if it's what you want to do. Do it scared. #nurseentrepreneur #caremanagementnurse #nursesofLinkedIn #valuebasedcare

Feel the fear and do it anyway? Agree? Or disagree? Or perhaps there is a third scenario? I do admire the good intended heartfelt encouragement here to give a message to others who may feel fear, to try and not let it get the better etc. Yet the more I study courage, cowardice and recklessness, the more I understand how fear and courage is situated in a world of power, bias and inequity. Fear serves a function. Undesirable emotions serve a purpose. Sometimes it isn’t safe to face your fears. Sometimes we need to listen to them and respect them. There is a difference between fear getting in our way and fear working to keep us safe. Sometimes, fear isn’t a ‘just do it’ - it’s a not yet. Not today. Not now. It can signal needing to prepare. That doesn’t mean you are weak, fearful or cowardly. It means you are smart, being courageous and not being reckless. I often think of the people who see these social media posts saying ‘feel the fear and do it anyway’ and wonder about those who are rightly thinking ‘that’s easy to say. to speak up, walk away, say no, refuse, challenge, say yes - but the risks are too great for me right now.’ Those that are scared of things staying as they are now, but aren’t in a safe place to change them today. Perhaps need resources they don’t have access to. If that’s you, you are brave. Be able to afford to not worry about the consequences of your action can be a privilege. Not doing it, can be quiet courage, a personal bravery that no one else sees or knows about. But I see you. And I know you are brave. Your time will come. Patience is a virtue just like courage. They can help each other. #courage #mindest #wednesdaywisdom
