I didn't know that there were soo many 👇 Ninjas, wizards, gurus, magicians, rockstars... If you want to find all those people, all you have to do is to start hiring. I was trying to hire for a portfolio company, and I felt like I was playing World of Warcraft by looking at the titles of the applicants. If you will apply for a role, please don't be a rockstar, magician, etc... It's not cool, and you are hurting your chances of getting hired. #freelance , #saasmarketing, ##gtmstrategy, #enterpreneurship, #growthmarketing
I think that titles have evolved a lot so some are just stuck with old "magical" ones. ✨ So just keeping it simple wouldn't hurt and everyone could understand what you are the person for.
Ninjas are my favourite 🥷
LOL...... I guess I would stand out by saying I'm a mediocre podcaster : )
Ohh there you are, was missing your content for quite some time man!
Yeah. Be the person who can do the job exceptionally well. That's all.
I might need to change my title to SEO ninja, rockstar, ninja, Jedi, guru, Maestro, and connoisseur. I want to collect the infinity stones of these titles
Haha, John, you've got a point! Job hunting shouldn't feel like we're in a fantasy role-playing game. Your post is like a splash of cold water for all those 'wizards' and 'gurus' out there. Thanks for keeping it real and reminding us of the importance of professionalism in our job titles. Cheers!
And all of them are better than "expert" No more experts in 2024 pls.
Where are my druids though?
