🛩️✨ Jet Aircraft: The Pinnacle of Speed, Comfort, and Efficiency! ✈️ Jet aircraft are powered by one or more gas-turbine engines, propelling them with remarkable thrust on the ground and through the skies. Using Jet A fuel, these sleek machines often outpace turboprop aircraft, flying faster and reaching higher altitudes. From altitudes below the airlines to soaring heights above 40,000 feet, jets offer unparalleled versatility in flight. Whether it's a compact cabin for a few passengers or a spacious interior resembling a meeting room, these aircraft cater to diverse needs. Most jets comfortably seat around six passengers, perfect for business or leisure travel. With an average range of 1,000 miles, they swiftly traverse the skies, bridging distances with ease. https://lnkd.in/dyWHsKRx #JetAircraft #Speed #Efficiency #ProductivityInFlight 🌍🚀

One of the most useful travel apps in my work travels has been Flighty. A recent update to the app adds some neat data visualization features based on your past trips. This is from my 2023 flights. This year I had 74 legs flown, 54 of them were on Alaska Airlines. My most common airframe on trips in 2023 was on the Embraer E175 with 24 flights, followed by 17 flights on the Boeing 737-900ER (the app still does not make a distinction between the -900 and -900ER), and 11 flights on the Boeing 737-800. My most frequented tail number was two flights on Horizon Air’s E175 N623QX. Both my shortest flight by distance and shortest flight by time were between SEA and PDX (129 miles/48 minutes). I now have 31 legs on the Embraer E175 since 2020 and it’s definitely a better cabin product than the dated cabins on the Q400s, but I really had fun flying on Horizon’s Q400s in all seasons. Most of those flights were on Horizon, but I have a handful on Skywest who also flies E175s for Alaska. #avgeek #aviation #airlines #aircraft #planeporn #airport #planespotting #instaplane #Alaska #AlaskaAirlines #instagramaviation #splendid_transport #instaaviation #aviationlovers #aviationphotography #flight #AvgeekSchoolofKnowledge #AvGeekNation

𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲! This is why we take a peek at these stunning innovations. If you have ever wondered how do #aircraft wings make an aircraft fly, stay tuned. What does it take to get an aircraft off the ground? A lot of #lift! The wing shape causes air flowing around the wing's lower surface to reach increased pressure. This leads to a lift force. As soon as the lift force exceeds the aircraft weight, the #airplane takes off into the skies. It uses its wings for lift and its #engines for #thrust. By using both thrust and #airflow the airplane is able to create enough lift to maintain #flight. When was the last time you flew away and where did you go? Did you know? Runway lighting plays a crucial role in ensuring safe takeoffs and landings at airports around the world. 🚦🌍 Runway edge lights, as seen in the picture, serve to outline the boundaries of a runway and guide pilots during low-visbility conditions, such as fog and darkness. Typically, these lights emit a steady white light, but sometimes they can alternate between red and white, as seen here. From approach lights to runway edge lights, every element contributes to seamless operations. Stay tuned for more aviation facts! ✈️ Captured by Jürgen Körber #avconJet #unimpossible #dyk #aviationfacts #charterflight #businessjet #businessaviation #bizav #bizjet #businesstravel #aviation #corporateaviation #aviationbusiness #aviationindustry #aviationlovers #aviationlife #aviationdaily #aviationworld #aviationgeek #avgeek #aviation4u #airtravel #jetlife #executivejet #aircraft #aircraftsales #aircraftcharter #aircraftmanagement
