(This position is only for Canadian citizens) Interested Candidates share me resumes: jadam@finday.com Please find below job description Job title: Role Title: Guidewire Architect Job location: Markham, ON, Canada The purpose of the Guidewire Architect role is to: • Define end-to-end solutions for IT change focusing on the Guidewire Insurance suite. • Create architecture to support broker connectivity integra􀆟ng with the Guidewire PolicyCenter to BMS Vendors • Create Guidewire centric designs that are fit for purpose from a func􀆟onal, non-func􀆟onal, service, and security point of view. • Deliver solu􀆟:p> o Contribute to the Solu􀆟on Archit’s IT Strategy Nature of Work Create solu􀆟ons and design for Guidewire Insurance pla􀆞orm (Guidewire PolicyCenter, Guidewire standards for technology and ensure they meet our ambi􀆟ons for availability, security, resilience, and performance. o Produce Guidewire design and migra􀆟on op􀆟ons with associated costs, benefits, and risks to enable investment decisions. o Responsible for the integrity of the end-to-end Guidewire solu􀆟on across Pla􀆞orms, including o Shape and es􀆟mate IT ini􀆟a􀆟ves and feature team sprints, ensuring that component parts deliver. o Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. o Record any solution debt incurred during the transition phase of the solution and address the same in future phases. o Identify potential risks and challenges associated with proposed solutions. o Develop mitigation strategies to address identified risks. o Participate in post-implementation reviews and provide feedback to improve future solution designs. • Technical Leadership o Keep up with technological developments in the Guidewire pla􀆞orm, Guidewire integra􀆟on and o Support defining the architecture best prac􀆟ces and standards in the Guidewire space and enforcing them in the project solu􀆟ons. o Peer reviews the design artefacts of others. o Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to less experienced team members as required. Aviva: Public • Design Community membership o Contribute to the Solu􀆟on Architecture community across Aviva Group leading on or par􀆟cipa􀆟ng in o Develop your technical skills to support Aviva’s need to understand and exploit emerging technology trends.
