One year ago, I swapped the Known for the Unknown. I left my job of 17 years to build a consulting practice. The last year has been both highly rewarding and slightly terrifying, and I’ve learned a ton along the way. I want to give huge thanks to my clients who have trusted me to help them meet their business goals, to my friends and colleagues who have supported and encouraged me, and to the remarkably warm and welcoming community of consultants who have shared their insights and experiences. For 2024, and likely well into 2025, PE and VC will be taking a much closer look at how the leadership teams of emerging companies control costs. As an example, coming out of last month’s J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference, analysts suggested that young life sciences companies, “... may have to be constructed differently, with more tightly controlled spending. Putting the Management Consulting industry under the microscope! 🔬 Which company owns the industry share of voice on social media? We analyzed 312 of the industry’s leading organizations and crunched the numbers… We wanted to know 3 things: 📍 Which companies have the most active employees on social media? 📍 What impact is this activity having? 📍 How does this compare to the industry standard? The results tell a very interesting story! 👀 Oh, and we ranked the companies too… Just to spice things up a little! 🌶️ The companies who topped the bill did so because their engaged employees consistently shared content with their networks. Helping to increase brand awareness, share of voice, and other key social media performance metrics.
