DEAR INTERVIEWEE "TELL ME ABOUT YOUR STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES" When faced with the popular interview question 'What are your strengths and weaknesses?', it's essential to strike the right balance between honesty and strategy. To ace your response, follow these guidelines: 1. With strength, highlight your relevant skills, achievements and experiences that align with the job requirements. 2. Be very specific and concise. Let your answer be brief with about two or three key strengths, again aligned with the job description. 3. You can also use concrete examples to demonstrate your strengths in action using the STAR model (explained in an earlier post). 4. With weaknesses, demonstrate self-awareness by acknowledging areas you are actively working to improve. 5. You can frame this positively by emphasizing what exactly you have been doing to overcome those particular weaknesses. Now tell me about your strengths and weaknesses in the comment section.

Field Operations at Quality Control Company Limited (COCOBOD)
3moMy strengths include a strong understanding of cocoa production and sustainability, which I have developed through my academic background and hands-on experience at COCOBOD. I also possess excellent analytical and research skills, which have helped me implement effective quality control procedures. Additionally, my communication and interpersonal skills enable me to build and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders. On the other hand, I am aware of my tendency to overcommit to tasks. While this stems from my passion for my work, I am learning to manage my workload more effectively and delegate when needed. I have also been working on improving my public speaking skills, which I initially found challenging. By participating in workshops and taking on more presentation roles, I have become more confident and capable in this area.
