Memorial Day Weekend always conjures thoughts of warm weather, enjoying the outdoors, and kicking off summer. It also means retail sales, and communications pros know that retail sales means “social media posts…lots of ‘em”. A friendly reminder that Memorial Day is actually a solemn remembrance. Brands can help their cause by using an appropriate tone and message in their content, rather than over-sensationalizing the day.
